A large majority of the planet is covered in a harsh and mostly inhospitable desert wasteland. Even with small oasis’ scattered throughout, even the Saiyans have trouble surviving here for extended periods, but even in this land animals of the desert can be found.

The remnants of several Tuffle settlements from shortly after the war are based throughout the wasteland, most within the confines of the old and most grand remains of the largest of Tuffle cities. Saiyans often search the ruins for any remnants of the Tuffle race, or bandits that may be hiding within.

Both poles of planet Vegeta are highly unstable, filled with large amounts of tectonic movement that has resulted in chasms of super-heated air breaking from beneath the ground, often followed by violent spurts of molten hot magma. This area of the planet is forever in darkness because of the almost poisonous, smog and ash filled air.

A dark and relatively unknown region of planet Vegeta that even Saiyans are generally forbidden to venture into. It is believed to be extremely dangerous, and as such many young Saiyans venture in as a test of courage. Some do not return for this mysterious place and those that do are hardly the same.
