Having climbed into bed only a few hours ago, Luka finally had fallen asleep at 5am, and without a job at the time she did not need to bother with waking up in only a few hours. If anything, she was most likely going to sleep until noon, not that she had a problem with this. "Mmm, Vegeta-sama~." She giggled and rolled over in bed, squeezing her pillow against her chest while her legs lifted, knees pressing up to her chest in a small coil. She was obviously dreaming about the man she was crushing on, and such a silly display she was giving off at that; being thankful for once that she lived on her own. Giggling she found her lower body arched up into the air, blankets and pillows slowly pilling under her as she hugged and squeezed upon the articals beneath of her. Squealing happily to herself, she was obviously very out of character, but then again this was the human part of her showing; innocence was always seen while in the midst of sleeping, she had heard many saying such things. Her dream was rather not in character for the both of them, considering what they were doing together was rather lovey dovey and they had yet to even come to this stage yet. Imagining herself in his arms, snuggling and getting kisses placed upon her cheeks and forehead; it was more than enough to have her squirm and let out soft noises of enjoyment.
Awaking to the sounds of shouts just outside her window, the pinkette rolled over in bed, letting out a rather annoyed groan pass from her parted lips. "Really..?" She muttered to herself, finding it rather hard to sleep as of late anyway; waking up with a headache always made things worse. Pushing herself to a sitting up position she ruffled a few a bit of her pink locks about from atop of her own head. "Did you hear? There's a HUGE robbery going on in West City!" Narrowing her gaze she was so nearly about to chuck objects out her window toward them. What idiots! Talking about something going on in another city; North City was rather far from the other, why was it such a big deal? Apparently more police officers were needed to come over to the neiboring city, when in reality, she bet they were all sitting outside the bank in their cop cars, doing nothing but telling the robbers not to harm anybody. With a roll of her eyes, she collapsed back into her pillow, attempting to plug her ears with the pressure adding to them. Wow, not only did they sound louder, but just more muffled; like an insect flying by your ear, yet you can't make out which one it could be.
Pushing herself out of bed at this point she combed her fingers through her hair, eyes fallen at a close with a rather irritated expression upon her face. Did it really take this much to stop robbers from taking their money? With a magenta coloured scarf tossed about her neck and her black outfit pressed firmly to her body she made her way outside into the streets, hugging her arms around herself to keep herself from the cold; as difficult as that was. "Did you hear? They have a woman at gunshot range! Ready to fire if the police decide to step in!" At this, her ears perked with slight interest; they seemed to be more than regular bank robbers. Yet, something within her made her want to stop them, all things considering her past. She did not really want to though, it had nothing to do with her, except maybe getting some more sleep for the very early hours of the morning. More sleep? Sounded like the perfect reasoning! Nodding to herself with this set into 'stone' in her mind she followed after the police cars, whos' sirens were blaring all the way to the next city over. Way to make the robbers possibly more hostile. Rolling her eyes she slowly levitated herself into the air, darting off into the skies, high enough for none to really recognize her and yet low to be able to keep an eye on where she was going.
West City; the streets were covered in police cars and citizens who could not seem to keep their noses out of this. Shaking her head she landed down behind a few cars, fists pressing down firmly upon her hips while tipping her body weight to the side, looking in through the glass windows. There were quite a few people inside as hostiage, and out of them all, one woman was at gun point. She was not wearing a clerk uniform, so possibly a customer? Rounding the building and making sure not to be spotted by the cops, knowing they'd do something drastic to keep her at bay, even if she was doing 'the right thing' for a change. Her gloved hand pressed against the knob of the side door, tugging it open quietly and kneeling down in order to creep inside silently without being seen. Small muffles of the men in masks were heard, kneeling behind the counter of the long rows of registers she peered out toward them, a rather blank expression upon her face as she waited for the right opportunity to make a move. "Don't think we won't spill this lady's brains all over the place! It'll be on YOUR hands!" The man held the gun fast to the side of her head, causing her to whimper and squirm about. After they took a few further steps back inside and paying less attention to the female she swept in, sliding in front of her and the other three men. This caused their grasp to be released and she dropped to the ground.
"Ah? We got ourselves a woman who thinks that she can actually DO something!?" The man called out, laughing all the way, making her gaze lower a tad from just how ignorant they were. Suddenly a sharp and warm feeling was felt in the pit of her stomach, causing her jaw to drop open slightly. A knife was felt going through the back of her spine and into her stomach, a bit of blood spewing out from her mouth in the process. "N-nani...?" Slowly turning on the heels of her feet she saw the woman standing behind her, the semi-blood soaked knife in the palm of her hand. Instantly she dropped to the ground, gripping at the wound and letting her eyes drift to a close. Gasps and screams were heard from inside, making the cops grow frantic, unsure of what was happening and what demands that were needed to be made to save lives!
The men started to laugh and the woman allowed a smirk to cross over her lips, obviously being the ring-leader of the robbers and only playing as a decoy of a captive in order to find an escape route. The pinkette finally regained herself, watching as a small child huddled close to her grandma, clinging onto her shirt fabric as though it'd save her from even the Devil himself. Pushing herself up to stand she let out a soft grunt, re-closing her eyes as she took in a soft breath. The robbers turned around, along with the woman, shocked expressions upon their faces. "Why isn't she dead!?" Almost instantly they began to fire at her, some of the bullets bouncing off with soft clinks from the metal upon metal effect. She flinched a tad from the ringing within her eardrums due to this, having to lift her index finger up to rub into her ear lightly, twisting it back and forth. "The Hell?!" Lifting her hand, she clutched her fist around a bullet, using her index finger to flick it back at a male robber, causing him to go flying back from the impact of it passing through his skin. The female hissed and chewed down upon her thumb nail, growing rather irritated at the fact that they were being stopped. Ah, but this was personal now after what was done to her body and loss of blood that she had already lacked to begin with.
Clasping her hands together and then thrusting both arms outward, a swarm of fire flickered out and surrounded them in a wall of heat. Their guns dropped to the floor, hugging one another for dear life and letting out mild cries of "please don't kill us!". This of course had their leader sighing and shaking her head from just how easily they gave up. Slowly her flames flew directly at them, only to vanish as soon as it made contact. Heat signatured handcuffs clasped around all of their wrists; making a small smile spread over her face. Just then the doors were kicked open, but at that time Luka had already made her escape. The police stood there, scratching at their heads in confusion as to what brought them all down and how none of the civilians were hurt. An officer now knelt down, looking at a small trail of blood leading out the side entrance, perhaps they had thought too soon? The man followed out the doors and looked toward the pinkette who gripped upon the wound she bore; arm wrapped tightly about herself as she peered over with her icey stare. "Nanda?" This of course made him jump from the sudden sound of her inhuman voice. "Were you the one... who stopped those robbers?" Slowly she nodded her head, turning her gaze forward once more as a few pink strands drifted down upon her shoulders.
"That was a brave thing you did... the least we can do is thank you!" She stayed blank stared, looking away from him as he made his way over, reaching into his pocket and pulling out some zeni. "Here." Turning fully toward him she blinked down at his hand and extended her own, the coins dropping down into her palm as she clutched onto it. "Thank you..." Came a soft whisper before she ran off, getting enough distance to launch herself back up into the skies and back toward North City. Glancing down toward her injury she'd frown to herself, how could she get so careless? The fact that the woman was playing as a decoy could have been easily spot-on. Perhaps for now she'd merely blame it upon her lack amount of sleep she had been getting lately. Now arriving back at the Gero mannor the door flung open, "I'm home!" She called to nobody at all, considering she lived alone and always had since her father left. Climbing up the stairway she headed into the bathroom, lifting up her shirt a tad and looking at the hole residing in her stomach. "T'ch... this might take a while to heal." Pulling out a vile of pills she plucked a few into her mouth, swallowing them down; then to grab onto a gauze and proceeding to wrap it about her frame.
Nodding to herself at the decent job of it, she took the zeni she had earned and tucked it away into her dresser, along with the slowly pilling up amount that she had already earned. Her body collapsed down onto the bed, face burying into that fluffy pillow, her cotton candy coloured comfortor wrapping about her as she tucked herself in. Finally she was able to get the needed sleep that she so craved and deserved. Her fingers curled inward onto the sheets below as she inhaled a deep breath and slowly let it out contently; a shoulder raising with just how comfortable she had gotten. When she awoke she'd worry about her wound, it was not affecting her at that moment so she'd be able to sleep it off and work upon the repairs needed later on. For now, she planned on sleeping in, that was until a sudden whail of sirens went by the window; the police returning from the next city over. Her eyes flew open, small circles forming just under her eye as she stared blankly ahead, only to let out a rather loud and frusterated scream.
