Profession Details

The Class System on DB:R is used for establishing a character’s progress in the RPG, as well as defining the way in which their characters grow. The basic classes are each tied to a single respective stat, while the advanced classes greatly expand upon those, defining your character, while creating unique roles for each person.

In the posts below are the five Beginner Professions and some relevant information on them:

Warrior

Warriors pride themselves on physical strength above all. They train rigorously for whatever their intents may be. Some do it for personal power, believing in the mentality survival of the strongest, while others crave the strength to protect those around them, be in their friends, family, or even their whole planet.

Level 1 Profession Starter Pack -
Warrior Outfit:
- Brawler's Armour (+5 End)
- Brawler's Gloves (+10 Str or +5 Ki)
- Brawler's Leggings (+5 Sta)
- Brawler's Boots (+5 Agi)
- Steel Sword (+10 Str)

The starter pack also includes a Perk. You can select one of these three: Counter Strike, Rough Skin or In Shape. You get to select yet another one of the remaining two Perks when you reach level 8.

Passive: (The final singular attack of a physical combo does double damage)

*Glorified Fist: Bulks up the user’s Strength, increasing it by 50% for 2 rounds, but preventing use of Ki moves while active. In addition, does X damage to the opponent, undodgeable and unblockable. (Usable once per battle).

Ki Master

These Masters of Ki shun the Warrior mentality of strength, believing that their mastery of Ki gives them the edge in both power and range. These fighters tend to be calmer, more in tune with the flow of the universe as a whole, and some find themselves understanding enough to take on the role of guardian of a planet, using their pure energy to protect it and create powerful artifacts.

Ki Master’s Outfit:
- Cloth Armour (+5 End)
- Cloth Gloves (+5 Str or +10 Ki)
- Cloth Leggings (+5 Sta)
- Cloth Boots (+5 Agi)
- Generic Staff (+10 Ki)

The starter pack also includes a Perk. You can select one of these three: Resistance, Nature Savvy or Ki Mastery. You get to select yet another one of the remaining two Perks when you reach level 8.

*Passive: (Reduces the Ki Cost of moves by 5%)

*Ki Force: Boosts the user’s Ki, increasing it by 50% for 2 rounds, but reducing damage done by ki attacks by 25%. In addition, all damage done to the user will lower their KiP instead of their HP. (Usable once per battle).

Healer

Healers are people who have decided to live a life of sacrifices, mainly putting the needs of others before themselves. They focus on their own life force and continuously push to strengthen it, not only granting themselves a deeper pool of health but also allowing them to help others far more than normally. However, in doing so they lack in all of the other areas.

*Passive: (Takes 5% less damage from all attacks).

*Healing Light: Boosts the Users Stamina, increasing it by 50% for 2 rounds on first use, but preventing use of any other attacks while active. In addition, does X damage (based on Sta) and heals the user by 50% of damage done.

Special: This attack can also be used on an ally, instead healing for X healing (based on Sta) and damaging the user by 50% of healing granted.

Defender

Defenders believe, like Warriors, that strength is an important factor in combat. However instead of purely basing their strength on harming their enemies, they instead focus it on protecting themselves and their comrades from harm. While they lack the ability to fashion magical objects as Monk’s do, they often defend their homes to the last, using their longevity as an asset in maintaining peace and stability.

*Hardened Form: Boosts the user’s Defence, increasing it by 50% for 2 rounds, but preventing use of ki attacks while active. In addition, reduces all damage done by 50% after factoring in defence, and changes the stat used for physical combo’s to def for the duration of the move. (Usable once per battle).

Speedster

What is more important than speed? To a Speedster the answer to that question is nothing. They dedicate their lives to training their movements and reaction times, sacrifices brute strength and practising their Ki mastery to better focus on attaining speed. Their ultimate goal is to one day be known as the fastest being in existence! No easy feat, by any sense of the word.
