Universe Of The Dead Quest Difficulty: Hard. Word Count: 7,000 WC. Quest Requirements: N/A. Planet: Earth, Namek, Vegeta or Cold. Location: Any. (Doing Neutral version for me) ______________________________________________________
The beeping of her alarm clock went off on the sidetable beside her bed, causing the pinkette to roll over, a hand pressing up against her mouth as she breathed out a deep yawn. "Mmn..." Looking toward the time it was now 6am, her hand coming down to hit against the top of the alarm, turning it off. All was silent in the big mansion, obviously because she lived alone but something about it felt a bit awkward all of a sudden. Blinking her cerulean orbs over across the room momentarily she gazed out the window, her fingers stroking down along the redish-pink coloured fabric. Distancing herself from it she inched into the bathroom, her bare feet padding against the cold white tiles below; articals of clothing falling off and onto the ground in her wake. Reaching over she turned on the temperature to a lukewarm, inhaling deeply as she poured in a few cherry blossom essences. Relaxing she dipped her feet into the tub, settling down as the bubbles began to rise along her body, head laying back just against the fosset. Her mind simply melted away, everything felt calm and relaxing to say in the least and nothing stressful was coming to mind. Suddenly a sound was heard from the bedroom, causing her to blink her eyes open wide from a sudden shock of it. Holding her hands against her own chest she leaned upward a tad, "hello?" She called out, attempting to hear another sound or wondering if she had mearly heard it from being paranoid. Nothing was heard and she leaned back down into the water, closing her eyes momentarily as she went under, only to reopen and stare up at the liquified ceiling. Being able to hold her breath all things considered she tilted her head to the side, thinking that she heard something from under the depth of the water, but she thought nothing of it until another loud thud echoed from beneath and into her eardrums. Gasping she shot up from the water and looked toward the closed door of her bathroom, pulling herself out of the tub and quickly wrapping her white robe around her frame. Slowly walking over toward the door her hand clutched onto the knob, breathing deeply in soft puffed breaths as she found her body beginning to shake, the sounds continuing even as she pressed her ear to the door; it grew louder. SlamLetting out a scream the door flew off its henges and flying down on top of her, the creature on the other side, snarling and moving about in a frantic manner. Attempting to push the door off of her, it proved to no avail at the moment, the weight from the other end making it difficult even with herself not being fully human as it were. There was a loud thud against the door along with a whizzing noise that sounded a bit odd, making her blink her eyes open rapidly. "Hey, you alright?" The weight from above was removed and the door kicked off, her hands held up by her own head as she gazed at a man above, a bowgun pressed up against his shoulder as he extended his hand out toward her. "Y-yes... thank you." Taking hold of his hand she was pulled up to her feet, gripping tightly onto the robe around her as she hugged herself to also keep warm. The man before her held short shaggy brownish blond locks upon his head, yet it wasn't too messy to be thought of as a slob, dressed in a red and brown t-shirt and dark blue jeans; brown boots to match. He retracted the arrow from the creature's skull and returned it to his pack of arrows that hung along his side and back. Now finally analyzing the body that had jumped her she gasped in realization, it was a human. Surely dead now, but why was he attacking and snarling like an animal? "Why are you here taking a shower of all things? Didn't you see the news!?" Blinking toward him she found herself shaking her head, arms finally falling down at her sides as she followed him into her bedroom. "Apparently dead people are walking around - some are referring to them as Walkers, others as Zombies; either way it's all the same." His voice was a tad harsh, yet soothing all at the same time, "Wha... but that isn't possible." Having being Doctor Gero's daughter and following the lines of science it was hard to come up for any reasoning behind zombies being a real thing walking among them. "The proof is laying right there!" He extended his hand, pointing at the body below before turning around. "I'll be outside the door, get dressed and ready - I'm taking you with me." Right after stating this he left the room, closing the door behind him. Her hands came up to her shoulders, stroking them lightly in comforting movements, trying to get a firm grip of the situation at hand, but now wasn't the time. Pushing open her closet she walked inside it, pulling through a few items of clothing and settling upon some; tugging on a pair of dark blue jeans upon her legs along with a black shirt with pink lining against the upper sleeves, which ended at the mid shoulders. After drying her hair and brushing it, so she wouldn't get sick (God knows how horrible it'd be sneezing while trying to pass by a hoard of zombies) and looked around her room. She couldn't just let him be the only one defendinig them both, she needed something to use, at least for now. Remembering her sword she had placed down after the tournament she had entered, she slid down to her knees and reached underneath the bed, grasping onto the hilt and tugging it out; pushing herself right back up afterward. Hugging the blade against herself for a moment before sliding it against a wrapping around herself and onto her hip and exiting the room. The man turning around to face her and nodded his head, making his way down the stairs and toward the kitchen, where she followed and hopped up onto the counter. He was raiding her cabenets and such for food and bottles for water, which in fact were smart ideas. He took a few duffle bags that were hung over his free shoulder and stuffed them full of drinking supplies and food, biting into a piece of pie that was in her fridge, gazing toward her and nodding before walking out of the room once more. Hopping off from the counter she trailed after him, looking over his shoulder as the door creeked open. "I'm surprised anybody was here in this mansion, it was so far away from other houses... I guess I was right on thinking that perhaps a living person or food would be here." As he spoke he lifted his crossbow at the ready once more, heading out the door and shifting around to look about the deserted area. Following she hugged her arms around herself, only to flinch as she heard a woman screaming and other screams of a zombie as it chased her down and devoured her insides, the pinkette now lifting her hand up against her own mouth; completely digusted. The man extended his arm out in front of her, telling her to stop moving as he aimed and shot an arrow straight into his head, the body collapsing to the ground. He walked over and yanked it from its place and replaced it where it belonged, motioning for her to follow. Running to his side he slipped onto a motorcycle just down the hill that he had left behind, only for the fact that he didn't want any following him up to the mansion before due to the sound. Climbing on the back of it, Luka took the helmet and wrapped her arms about his frame as the engine started up. This caused a few walkers to snarl and leave from their 'hiding places' and venture outside. Gasping she clutched tighter to him and he quickly sped up and down the street, leaving a trail of them running after, but thankfully the bike was faster than them. Sighing the girls head fell forth and laid upon his shoulder blades, attempting to still catch her breath due to everything that was going on. All the death and chaos, the living changing how they once were and destroying themselves and everything around. All was silent so far, but it was all for the best, surely she wouldn't be able to hear him over the humming of the engine, even if the helmet did help to drown out the sound just a bit. The two stopped at the entrance to the woods nearby, parking the bike there and climbing off. Luka did the same and sighed, removing the helmet as her hair fell down neatly upon her shoulders. Following him inside the brush she kept her hand upon the hilt of her blade, pushing through the bushes until a small camp was located just nearby. People were gathered about either the campfire or were doing laundry in the lake and hanging them on a clothes line; two children sitting with their parents as they read to them. Glancing through the small group of people she was led inward, the others slowly moving in toward them as to figure out who the girl was exactly. Figuring that was what was wanted from her she nodded her head, "I am Luka." The other nodded and introduced themselves, about two people doing it for half of them each. They seemed to return to their usual routine, and Luka collapsed down into a folding chair, looking off to the side silently. The man who had first come to save her extended his hand with a muffin resting in his palm, one he had taken from her house. "I figured you just woke up, so..." He seemed to be a rather distant guy, yet one with a good heart. She nodded and took it from his hand, "thank you" she said softly before biting into the blueberry treat, hugging her legs up into an Indian style fold. "We do alright here, it's been since the early morning that this all began to happen. We got everything set up in a far off location to where the walkers haven't thought of coming here just yet." Looking up toward him she nodded once more, "by the way, my name's Darl." Looking toward his extended hand she took it and they quickly seperated once more, it was all for the best. Not much was done for the rest of the day, these people were living as though this was normal life, except for one man who was the look out on top of the RV that they owned and had at the camp. Darl was in charge of hunting for food, knowing that going back into town was a risky try, that time through was his last, so she was lucky enough that he had been there at the right time for her. When nightfall came the group sat about that campfire, making sure that the flames didn't go high enough to be spotted by any zombies, yet just enough to keep warm and cook their food upon. Watching them from afar she noticed that it was a girl's birthday, one who seemed to be just about the same age as Luka, but with golden blonde hair that trailed down her back. Her older sister, she guessed considering they looked almost alike, headed into the RV to gather her present and Luka watched still, finding it the best entertainment thus far. Little did they know that a zombie had made their way into the camp, trailing into another vehicle and chewed into an injured man's chest, unable to cry out considering his already poor condition as it were; his fase swollen from being beaten up in a fist fight. The birthday girl smiled as she neared that same van, thinking that the walkinig coming out from behind her was the guy inside until suddenly it grabbed her arm with its teeth, causing her to scream and cry out. Everyone around the fire jumped up and looked over to the sight, and then at the zombies that were swarming in on them from all about the cars they had there. Luka jumped up and removed her sword from its sheath, she watched as a few drew their guns and shot at the zombies, causing them to fall to the ground once the bullets entered their heads. The elder sister gasped and cried out her younger sister's name, running over to her and catching her just before the fell, twitching slightly as she was slowly dying there in her arms. More walkers were arriving from the brush, cornering them up against the RV, bullets flying forth and continuing to penetrate them; many of the members of the group falling to the ground and dying on the spot, becoming eaten alive until shot. When it was all over a bunch of bodies laid dead upon the grassy plain, many survivors and others were the undead which had been dealt with; at the cost of losing others. Luka stared down at them, watching a the sister began to mourn over the other, this had her shaking her head. They weren't very well put together and this was obvious, so with her sword still in hand she walked away, leaving them to mourn for their losses. None of them even noticed that she was missing, except Darl, but that was when she had already left further away. She felt the breeze of the early morning hitting against her pale face, taking in a deep breath soon after. Looking into the nearby streets that were filled with the undead she made sure to head in the opposite direction; there were two options, find out the reasoning for all of this and stop it, or simply leave the planet. What she was gonig to choose from a very difficult decision to make and this was only the beginning of her journey in the World of The Dead. __________________________________________________________

I'm taking the good version. Because I'm a Nice guy. -----
"Damn it! TWO DAYS IN A ROW! WHY IS SOMEONE ALWAYS ON MY DAMNED LAWN!?" Trunks seemed to appear from the darkness of the night sky, three spears of energy arching through the sky and impaling what appeared to be frail and weak humans through the head. They fell, but instead of blood, a sickly green poured from them. That green soaked the ground, causing the grass to rot. It seeped into the dirt before settling, and Trunks made a quick note to never bury another animal in the yard. He was bed-headed once more, of course, because the intruders never let him sleep. Suddenly, it seemed obvious why Vegeta was always a total grouch.
As the pajama wearing hero inspected the bodies (from a distance. From a very good distance of exactly eleven feet, as he was sure these things were far worse than the Grinch), he noticed that their skin varied from a rotten yellow to a sweat, sickly normal color, and some even had green skin. One who still had eyes lacked any hint of knowledge, and the rest of his appendages- the nose, per example- had fallen off. Trunks shuddered, suddenly glad for the alarms forcing him to wake up. Had these things gotten inside...Well...It would have been a bad day for Bulma and young Trunks. The Halfling Prince took a look around the yard again, chucked a few more blasts at another pair of invaders, then sprinted towards his room, leaping and gripping a tree branch with either hand. He hauled himself up, climbing to the highest possible branch. When he was parallel with his window, he leaped, busting through and rolling.
Trunks recovered quickly, yanking open the top drawer on his dresser and gripping a golden Capsule. It had been years since he'd had to use it--- the last time the Halfling Prince had dawned the armor was when he'd killed Cell in his timeline--- but now seemed a better time than any to fish it out. After a moment, the capsule exploded in a puff of mystical yellow, revealing a blue and white armor. After a few minutes of struggling, he managed to wrestle it on, placing his jacket into the same golden capsule, then shoving that in a pocket within his armor.
Next, Trunks stuffed every last capsule in that top drawer into his backpack, as they contained food, water, weapons, and even a building or two. He turned the backpack into a capsule itself, shoved that in the same pocket within his armor, then stomped over to his closet. The Halfling Prince practically ripped the doors off, throwing a number of clothes onto the floor behind him. He tore most of them, knowing that someone somewhere would need a makeshift cast, then shoved the remains into a separate duffle bag. When both duffle bags were full, he turned either one into a capsule and shoved them into a third bag. A dozen more capsules later, most of his room was packed up. The intended uses of his possessions varied from firewood to medical supply, but he knew from past experience that everything was a supply.
When he finished with his room, Trunks leaned out the window, blasting another couple zombies before they could reach the door, then barricaded his window entirely. He barreled through the hall, crashing into his mother's room. Thankfully, she seemed to be missing due to some kind of business trip, which meant that Trunks had been the only one in the house after all. With a sigh of relief, he tore through Bulma's possessions, trying his best to ignore the panties and other colorful objects. A thousand or so annoyingly red pieces of white linen later, he came across the capsule he was looking for. He stuffed that into the pocket that the other three capsules were in, then moved swiftly to his father's side of the room.
This was a much simpler act. After a few minutes of sorting through things, Trunks trotted down the stairs with a bag of sensu beans and an old Scouter. In the kitchen, he simply turned the fridge into a capsule, food and all, and stuffed a number of knives into the duffle bag. Finally, he reached above one of the three fireplaces, pulling Tapion's Sword down and strapping it over his back. Finally, he forced his way through the front door, chopping a number of heads in half with Tapion's Sword as he went. Once he reached the driveway, he threw Bulma's capsule to the ground, watching as a massive puff of smoke unveiled the RV she had taken from Mt. Jingle all the way down to the beach, back when Goku was a kid and Oolong was useful.
Trunks blasted a few more zombies to clear the way, then climbed into the RV, slamming and locking every door. He pressed three buttons, and spat into a small box to prove his was Brief's DNA, then revved the engine and sped through a crowd of Zombies. Luckily, a "my first lab" was on that RV, which would give Trunks a shot at working on an antidote. But first, he had to hope someone of decent power was out there to help. He recalled a letter from his father talking about his grandfather having a new girlfriend; Luka, or something like that.
Ironically, he found himself blaring the horn of the RV, yelling, "WHAT THE HELL! DODGE, BEFORE YOU GET OVER KILLED!"
A pink haired girl with a sword was only a few short seconds before him, possibly on the verge of dying. In a desperate attempt to save her, Trunks slammed the brakes, turning the wheel quickly and veering off to the side. Somehow, the RV came to a safe stop, tilting a bit before falling back to a perfectly balanced position. Trunks sighed relief, then stepped down and out of the RV, staring blankly at the Pinkette.
"What the hell!? Can't you at least hear an RV!?...Gah. Whatever," he stopped to unsheathe Tapion's sword, holding it level with both hands, just in case this girl was a zombie. "If your alive, get inside the RV. It's not exactly safe at the moment. There should be a bed, if you need rest."
Without waiting to see if she'd actually respond, Trunks climbed into the RV, unlocking only side door for her to climb in. As soon as he heard it click shut, he revved the engine and continued on. He was quiet, of course; if the girl wanted to talk after a near-death experience and an apocalypse, she'd talk.

The people she had left behind, their blood had managed to stain her clothing, thankfully keeping off from her skin; even if she wasn't fully human there was still a chance that she could become infected by their blood getting into her system. Pink strands fell down over her shoulders and against her chest, her body thrusting forward to decapitate a few zombies who came into her path. If anything, she was only looking for shelter that she'd be able to stay in, especially when the night would fall; surely more came out around then and a place to stay was best. If anything Luka didn't trust anyone on Earth at this time, she hadn't really gotten to know many who haven't left to another planet soon after. She started to regret not going with them, especially with what was becoming of the Earthlings; then again, she used to be one. Her boots crunched down upon a few pebbles upon the road's surface, no cars were around, most were either dead or left town by now. "I should have left when I had the chance...t'ch, figures when I'm finally able to sleep... the world goes to Hell." She had regretted not going to Vegeta after the tournament like so many others had, even those who weren't originalls from that planet had gone, or at least another planet. Then again, was it the same here as other worlds, or just this one? Stopping for a moment she gazed up toward the sky, the sun was slowly beginning to fall, her lips parting open a tad. Was this punishment for humans always repeating their past mistakes? So many thoughts were running through her mind now, wondering if she had survived so far, because she at least had a chance to redeem herself. Then again, she wasn't even suppose to exist anymore; her life had ended just a few years ago and she was brought back from the other side - that was against God's - or whatever Gods (if any existed at all) - design. She wasn't human anymore, why did someone come and save her at the last minute while in her bathroom? Shouldn't she have been killed off right then and there? Not that she wanted to be, but none of this was making sense. Then again, she didn't believe in God, she didn't believe in anything of the sort, if anything she didn't have any beliefs at that point. A noise was heard behind her, a few zombies growling as they neared her stopped position. Did she deserve to continue surviving while so many that were pure are dying? Twisting around her blade sliced against their throats in a quick movements, their heads bent backward upon small strands of neck skin and muscle; still walking toward her just like that. Moving her hand outward, her palm faced them, flames flying out and knocking their heads clean off of their bodies, which then fell to the ground soon after. However, they were still snarling, making her walk over toward them, pulling out a mallet from the other side of her belt and smashing it down upon their skulls; their brains and coagulated blood splattering out against the ground. Placing that mallet back into the loop of her belt and letting it hit lightly against her side and then sliding her sword back against the ground behind her she walked off. She wasn't tired, it was hard to be when most of you was machine, she didn't feel weak or even scared anymore; rather just confused. Hearing a vehicle approaching her, she blinked ahead, watching it near her; it seemed to be a military compound. It stopped before her, and two soldiers jumped out, "we found another one!" Guns were pointed and aimed into her direction, she gave off a blank stare toward them, "but... I'm alive." She spoke softly, only for one of the men to smirk, "you won't be for long! We've been given orders to wipe out all life forms in this city. A baracade has been lifted, blocking off this city from any other, to contain the infection. So everyone inside, must die. You will anyway - when we blow this place to smithereens." This caused her eyebrows to knit together in disbelief, "Is that really the only fail safe plan you guys can come up with..?" Suddenly their guns fired, bullets piercing her skin, some bouncing off from her body as it hit the metal parts of her. Her body hit the ground, blood oozing out from her, so she decided to simply play dead, for them to leave her alone; she needed time to regain herself anyway. They chuckled and ducked back inside the Military van, driving off as soon as they had arrived. Humans really were pathetic. 'Hey, their may be surviviors, let's kill everybody inside anyway!' What a sad and miserable way to look at things. Pushing herself up she managed to stand, looking at the rags of her clothing that were beginning to peel down over her skin a tad, frowning at the sight of blood on her; of not only her old allies but now her own too. "I'll need to change clothes sometime..." Sighing she brushed her hair out of her face, letting her feet continue their march, but where she was headed, she hadn't the faintest clue. There wasn't anybody alive that she could count on, not anymore. Perhaps it really was best just to find a way off of his planet, after all, why bothering helping people who weren't there to do the same for you in return? What was in it for her, really? Another vehicale was coming up from behind, but she didn't stop walking, after all she wasn't even directly in the middle of the street at this point; more off to the side. A screech came as it haulted close to her, making her stop in her tracks, yet she didn't dare turn around to look them in the face, not yet anyway. "What the hell!? Can't you at least hear an RV!?...Gah. Whatever," a small smirk came to her lips, slowly turning to look over her shoulder toward him. That's where it struck her, his looks, his voice, presence it all seemed so familiar, but she wasn't sure just why. That's it! King Vegeta, he seemed closely so with that man, so much that it had her turning around fully to look him over. "If your alive, get inside the RV. It's not exactly safe at the moment. There should be a bed, if you need rest." Turning to look behind her, where she was traveling to and then to the RV, it sounded nice; being able to rest while traveling instead of tiring herself out. Chewing on the inside of her lip as she stood outside alone she quickly came to her decision. Inching to the steps, she climbed up a few stairs and closed the door behind her. Looking about she noticed him up front at the wheel and she took a deep breath inward, "mind me asking what all you have in here? I'm kind of cut up with blood on me, it'd be nice to shower and change clothes." Resheathing her sword, she stepped up toward the seat beside him, collapsing down upon it with a plop, having almost forgot her manners, "thank you, by the way... I wasn't even sure where I was going."______________________________________________________

"mind me asking what all you have in here? I'm kind of cut up with blood on me, it'd be nice to shower and change clothes." Trunks noted that the girl's voice was rather pretty; then again, most girls were, due to the fact he'd grown up in a world where even the slightest hint of kindness was considered 'beautiful.' He grunted, shoving aside the fact that she'd had some form or another of kindness in her voice. After all, saving anyone from a potential death is a feat which demands some kind of trust.
"I'm pretty sure mother has a closet of clothing somewhere on the second level of this thing. It's got a good couple gallons of stored up water, but it might smell funny. If you plan on showering at all, I suggest you get it done before we park. I don't know how far the virus has actually spread, so it'd be better to get cleaned up while we're going ninety. Less chance of an ambush." He relaxed a bit as she rose and moved towards the five step stairwell in the back. He could literally hear her stop, as her foot made a pang! sound. He blinked, a few alarms going off...Alarms that told him to run far, far away from there.
An alarm that hadn't gone off since he'd killed Android Seventeen in his time.
"Thank you, by the way...I wasn't even sure where I was going." Trunks visibly relaxed, a sigh escaping his lips. He responded with a simple, "your welcome," then returned his attention to the road. Somewhere above, he heard the water turn on and some rummaging through a teen-aged Bulma's drawers. A splash that betrayed the lightweight figure of the girl set Trunks off again, and he found himself clutching the wheel tighter than before. There was no way a girl with that figure would make a splash like that; a splash that resembled the time Seventeen and Eighteen had taken the fight to a pool. Trunks shuddered, remembering how he'd nearly drowned that day.
She's...She's gotta be an Android. She might be like Sixteen though. She might be friendly...But if she's acting... Trunks's grip splintered the wheel, and he resisted the urge to yank away. A thin line of blood drizzled down the wheel and either of his hands, indicating the wood had pierced skin. The Halfling Prince muttered something, then smacked the back of his hand against the autopilot button and moved towards a sink. He fumbled with the knobs for a minute, then managed to turn the cold water on.
After five minutes of pulling three of the larger splinters from his left hand, he realized that the act was pushing splinters deeper into his right. Annoyed, he shut his eyes and focus Ki to the underside of his palms, using it to force the splinters out of his hand. Twelve pieces of wood clattered to the floor, followed by a squirt of blood. Trunks bit the inside of his cheek, trying to restrain from shouting, and shoved either hand under the cold water. He watched as his blood turned the sink red, and felt great relief as the cold water numbed his hands. After a few minutes, the wounds closed themselves, and he turned the sink knob, causing the water to stop flowing.
Eventually, he heard the water from upstairs stop running. At the same time, just to the right of the road, an encampment came into view. A few people stopped and stared at the RV as it passed, and Trunks went on high alert as he realized one of them was gray...Extremely gray. And that one was inching towards two men with guns, who obviously didn't realize the zombie had trekked this far. The Halfling Prince stared in shock as it was just inches away from one of the guards...
Then he noticed a much bigger picture. From the camp, two dozen zombies began to exit, all of which were obviously freshly made, due to the mostly in tact clothing. The zombie leaned in for the kill...And was meant with a solid elbow, sending its head flying. Either guard turned on the zombies, unloading bullets that exploded on impact. Within minutes, the hoard was trimmed down, and the two men, eyes wide, were sprinting towards the RV. Trunks gulped, then slammed his fist on a button that slowed the RV to only ten miles an hour. He sprinted for the back door, shoving it open and leaping from his perch to the road.
He aimed to pick up the closest of the two, only to notice that the so called he was a she in bulky clothing, and she was frantically saying no. With a furrowed brow, Trunks realized that the woman's eyes were beginning to turn in different directions, and her skin was turning green. she pointed at the other girl, then collapsed. By now, the zombies were close, and the RV was getting away. With an effort, Trunks leaped to the teenager, sweeping her over his shoulder while turning, and sprinted towards the RV with the superhuman speed of a Saiyan.
With some luck, he managed to dive through the RV door, toss the girl down, and slam it shut before the zombies could get any closer. A second before he managed to push the speed back up to ninety, one of the zombies had managed to bang on the back door. It left a dent, but nothing more, as they were now putting a large gap or road between the hoard and themselves.
"You might wanna get down here! We're going to go a few more miles south, then circle around through a side road. Hopefully I can contact my mother to see if she can locate a cure. Then we'll just have the army douse the continent with it and get back to normality."
Or, he thought, find a space ship...

Having made her way up the stairs and to the next room she turned the water on and found one artical of clothing that didn't look too distasteful in her eyes. Climbing in her feet touched down to the surface of the floor, fingering running through her hair to get the dirt and blood out; being sure to do the rest for her body. Suddenly the world around her vision began to fade in and out, causing her hand to come up to the side of her head. The walls turned to a rusted red, red vines coverinng each brick tile; blood spitsing out from the shower head and covering her body. Gasping she jolted back, tumbling to the floor as she quickly hugged a towel around herself, a few bodies laid clung up against the walls, twisting and moaning out. However, everything in her vision now vanished, it was never really there, only in her mind. Blinking her eyes rapidly to recover her hand slid off from the side of her head, panting out quietly before reaching for the clothes she had gathered from the woman's clothing. Grasping onto a short pink dress, she pressed it over her head and down against herself, it looked like it was a short skirt-like shirt if anything. It came down to her thighs, hugging the brown belt around her waist and hugging it tightly to her hips. The words "BULMA" was pressed onto her chest in black and white lettering, a purple scarf along with the outfit now pressed about her neck, along with the purple socks so she didn't appear to be odd and put her own shoes and gloves on. Sighing she looked herself over in the mirror, cupping water in her palms and splashing herself in the face, hands now clutching onto the sides of the sink. "Get a grip..." Her voice came out mechanical, as it usually did; yet she found herself noticing it more in that small echo-ey room. Even though she was back to reality, something felt wrong; her suspicions were confirmed as she heard the hatch open and felt herself alone. Tracking down a few steps she haulted, being able to see the doors open and hearing growling and snarling, making her eyes lower, thinking that something had happened to that boy and that the undead had made their way inside. But a flash came by, the other was carrying someone in his arms, this had her shaking her head. "Did he even check to see if she was bit...?" If she was traveling with another idiot, she was going to leave right away if he was taking people onboard without even checking them over. "You might wanna get down here! We're going to go a few more miles south, then circle around through a side road. Hopefully I can contact my mother to see if she can locate a cure. Then we'll just have the army douse the continent with it and get back to normality."Taking in a deep breath she stepped down the rest of the stairs, a hand sliding off from the railing and pressing up against her own hip. She was staring at the girl, almost as if she expected something abnormal to happen, but nothing did. Closing her eyes she leaned her shoulder against the nearby wall, feeling her eyes burning a tad, most likely with being tired, but it was quickly pushed aside. "The army won't do anything, you know." Taking a few steps further into the RV she found herself a seat, collapsing down with a leg folded over the other, "they've been overrun, it's pretty obvious. They've gone far enough to blocade the city to prevent infected from leaving... they want to destroy the city with a nuke; to take the infection with it...." Her arms folded around her own middle, looking off to the side as her expressionless features stayed in place. "Calling your mom.... CAN be a good idea, but I say we get the hell out of here." A guy, woman and child traveling together now - what an odd group, and yet a practical one all at the same time. It was now that her eyes caught sight of the dent in the RV and she pushed herself back up to stand, walking over toward it and setting her gloveless hand upon it. With her eyes still shut she managed to remove the dent, as if it had never been touched. Looking at it with a faint smile she found herself to approve of this and twist around, her eyebrow raising with all curiosity of what route or plans he had made. If it was good enough for her, she'd go along with it, but she was in for her own survival, if it was going to indanger herself, he might be finding himself on his own. He heard the silver haired boy talking on his phone, to his mother most likely and she knelt down to the little girl, lifting her up within her arms; in order to sooth her. Sitting, she was settled into her lap, stroking her hair and allowing her to play with the ribbon that went along with the outfit (for the hair), not wearing it she let the child distract herself with it for the time being. That's when it happened again; the world around them was changing, a Hellish World was taking place of the real one, where everyone's fears and nightmares came to life in an even freakish, more disturbing form than the original. Gripping onto the side of her head she grunted, finding her vision blurring, but not as if she was going to pass out; for some reason it hurt, seeing the world changing. Thump Thump Blinking her eyes open and looking toward the back of the RV and through that small window she gasped as she noticed a large creature chasing after them, managing to pass the hoard, it was coming up fast on their tail. A large roar was sounded, it looked as if it was specially infected unlike the regular zombies and it finally smashed against the back of the vehicle, causing herself to fall forward off of the chair, catching the girl in her arm while her other hand pressed to the floor to catch herself. The girl was screaming and crying, which only further recognized themselves to the infected that there were living beings inside. Another smash to the side and their car went flying off the road, Luka falling over as she let out a yell as well, objects flying around and even out the windows as they went soaring and smashing into objects like trees. She felt a pull on her ankle and she let out a soft noise, looking down toward that monster who's large hand was wrapped about her tiny leg. "Take her!" She girl was extended from her hands and toward the boy, and once she was safer she let out a scream as she went flying out through the window with the creature. Without knowing what had happened to them she found herself waking up in the grass, letting out a soft whimper as her hand came up to the side of her head, hearing a snarl and growl from behind her. Turning around to face the large beast her eyes widened and lifted to try and see its face, only to grow disgusted by how blood was oozing out of its mouth, its face deformed as if it had been in a fire, arms longer than his body with hands even bigger in size. It was like some sort of tank made into a being. Feeling her heart race she yanked out her sword, taking in a deep and yet sharp breath as she knew that the battle was about to begin. _______________________________________________________________

"What do you mean she's in a meeting!?
"I mean that Mrs. Briefs is in a meeting. If you want to speak with her, you'll have to wait like the rest of her fans and colleagues."
"I'm her son! Tell her it's a family emergency!"
"You'd need to speak with someone higher up, like her son or her husband."
"Are you listening!? I AM HER SON. PAY SOME DAMNED ATTENTION."
"I'm sorry, but there is another, more important call."
"More important than an invasion of the living dead?"
"Sir, I'm going to suggest you speak with a doctor and psychiatrist."
Click.
Trunks all but smashed his phone, throwing it angrily across the RV. It smashed through a window, flying out away from the vehicle and back towards the hoard. For a time, he thought nothing of it, until he glanced at the rear-view mirror and noticed the hoard was keeping pace. Atop that, a hulking, menacing form was bounding from somewhere far, far behind them, and was about to pass the hoard. As it did, his phone smacked into the thing's head, lodging itself between the nose and upper lip. Trunks blinked, unable to discern whether he should laugh or floor it.
The zombie roared, then leaped.
Trunks jerked the wheel to the left, turning towards the side of the road, hoping he could throw off the thing by driving through the dirt and grass. Sadly, that failed to happen, as the beastly zombie landed and backhanded the RV, sending them flipping and flying. Two full spins, then they managed to land on the wheels, which exploded and sent them a few inches into the air once more. A large hand broke through the back door, and Trunks snapped. The Halfling Prince rose from his seat quick enough to snap the seat belt, and gripped it as a weapon. The steel buckle was still attached, and there was a good two feet left in the fabric.
"Take her!" Trunks turned his menacing gaze from the creature's hand to the android and the girl in her arms. Was this...Was this fake human trying to save the life of the child? How was that possible, if all Androids were built to kill? To destroy? He remembered every child Seventeen and Eighteen had killed...And yet, here was an obvious Gero-based Android, trying to save the life of a child. Trunks felt a fire ignite in his eyes, in his very soul. His body lurched forward, sweeping the child from the Android's arms. The girl was sobbing, and Trunks suddenly wished he still had his jacket on in order to help comfort her. But his armor would have to do. The Android was then torn from the RV, leaving Trunks standing there, child in one arm and makeshift whip in the other. He watched as the Android unintentionally drew the creature away, then carried the child to his bags.
After some digging, he pulled out six capsules. Undoing one, he handed her a gun, explaining how to pull the trigger if a zombie came near. The other five turned into sentry robots, complete with some of the most recent weapons Dr. Briefs had designed. Finally, he left her with a stuffed animal that he assumed Bulma had once owned, then left the RV. The makeshift whip was now tied along the length of his left arm, and his right was poised to draw Tapion's Sword. The Android had a sword of her own, staring up at the Creature. After an eternal second, the Creature swiped at her, and the two of them began their fight.
Some three miles behind, the horde marched ever closer.
Trunks walked through the tall grass, his boots sinking into mud on occasion. A cool breeze ruffled his annoyingly long hair, which gave his walk towards the horde a dramatic effect. He paused as his foot hit the pavement of the road, then turned to watch the Android. She was holding up amazingly well, and Trunks hoped that she would manage to hold off the creature long enough for himself to plow through the horde. He tapped Tapion's Sword against the pavement, mauling something over, then said, "My name is Trunks Briefs. If I don't see you after this...Tell Vegeta and his father of the troubles Earth has. If Vegeta doesn't help, tell him Bulma is in danger."
He then continued on, covering far less ground than the horde was. By the time he'd gotten ten yards up the road, the first of the zombies were upon him. He swept Tapion's Sword in a wide arch, lobbing off four heads. His hand twitched, turning the blade. As it turned, he dented the head of a zombie attempting to bite with the butt, spun on his heel, and created a gash in the left shoulder of one of the zombies via makeshift whip. One of the walkers rammed him with their forearms, causing the Halfling Prince to fly a few feet up and back. He landed hard on the ground, cracks forming in the pavement. A blur of green caused Trunks to roll away and spring back to his feet.
Again he swung Tapion's sword, watching another group of heads fall to the ground, followed by bodies. He clipped a sixth zombie's nose with the steel buckle, causing it to fly off and puncture another zombie's eye. He stabbed a seventh through the brain, then pulled the blade out and rammed the butt of Tapion's sword into an eighth zombie, knocking a chunk of skull off.
Somewhere in the distance, sirens began to sound. Planes came into view, all of them flying as far away from West City as possible.
Trunks stabbed Tapion's sword through the chest of a zombie, pushing it into a group of them with a kick, then turning on a larger group and swinging his makeshift whip with a wild precision. The buckle clipped one, then thumped another in the neck, stunning it. He drew back, spinning the whip in a circle to pick up momentum, then brought the buckle down on a head, causing the strange blood to spurt upwards. He repeated the process with other parts of the heads of other zombies, ignoring the blood dripping down his armor and caking his hair.
The first of the bombs sounded, on the far end of the city. Screams- human screams- tore through the cold night air.
This has to stop before they get to the rest of the city...Blast it, why can't they see a peaceful alternative!?
By now, Trunks had trimmed the group down to two, and took them out with a pair of blasts from his eyes. He then turned back on one of the smaller groups, scanning the zombies for the one with Tapion's sword. He found it in a group that was going towards the RV.
He mentally kicked himself.
With a burst of Ki, Trunks leaped over the heads of three groups of zombies, sprinting along the road, then into the marshy ground. His feet sank deep into the mud, and then he leaped, coming down on the zombie with Tapion's sword with his full weight and speed. His boots broke through the shoulders, sending the arms of the zombie into the ground. He gripped the handle of Tapion's sword, tearing it free and leaping forward. He landed in the midst of the group, and resorted to wild chopping to stop the mass of them from proceeding towards the RV and the girl.
Another group was going after Luka and the creature.
Trunks cursed, then forced his way to the front of the crowd. He then turned back on the zombies, shoved Tapion's Sword into the mud, and lobbed the whip down on the nearest zombie. The steel buckle cracked its skull. Trunks repeated the process twice more, then swung it until it was tied around his arm once more. He shoved as much Ki as he could spare into his arms, creating shields around them to protect him from bites, then took up a stance.
As the first one came towards him, he went to swing his right fist towards the jaw in order to dislodge it, then continue with an upper block to knock the rest of the thing's head off. However, another explosion distracted him. But this explosion...It was purple, like Ki. He blinked, confused. Nothing in the Universe should be able to make a blast like that; Trunks himself was only strong enough to blast a few body parts off now.
This is what happens when you touch Lord Damien, Trunks Briefs.
What the hell's a Lord Damien?
But the voice was gone, and the zombies were close enough to bite him. With a pang of panic, Trunks loosed the Ki around his arms into a blast that drilled holes into the heads of three of the closest zombies. He then grabbed Tapion's Sword and began backing up towards the RV. His lips suddenly felt dry, as did the rest of his mouth. The liquid had obviously turned to sweat, which was drenching his hair...Or was that blood? He didn't know. He just knew that, for the first time in a long time, he was thoroughly scared. How could anyone survive this? Especially now that their powers had been drained...
"Master Trunks in danger. Unit 726, program 2080 initiated." Trunks blinked, then realized one of the sentry bots had left the girl to protect him. It began firing rounds into the crowd of zombies; rounds that exploded, and seemed to go directly towards the brain. For a moment, Trunks was stunned, then realized that his younger self often played games like Silent Hill. Of course he'd program a robot to defend against zombies...Clever kid.
The other five sentry bots appeared around the RV, firing rounds at the zombies. Trunks sighed relief, then commanded them to guard the girl. They seemed to agree, so he sprinted towards the Android. She still seemed to be doing well (meaning she wasn't dead), but the horde was now advancing towards her. Trunks offered a gulp, then sprinted towards the horde once more, intercepting them half a football field away from the Creature and the Android. He unraveled the whip and pointed Tapion's sword, then tore into them once more.
Another explosion. Three out of twelve segments of the city were destroyed.
"Android!" Trunks still didn't know the girl's name, so he resorted to the first name of the other two Androids he knew. "See the phone between its nose and upper lip? Get that to explode! It will give you an opening to go for its brain!..Oh, and also, I didn't get your name!"
As if in response to 'name,' one of the zombies called out, "Thompsssoon..."
Trunks stabbed it before it got closer to his arm, then whipped another that was closing in. A third and fourth explosion rendered Trunks angry, which caused him to raise Tapion's Sword high above his head, and bring it down in a perfect half circle, slashing a zombie in half. The sword dug into the marsh, but pulled out with only a slight suction induced pop! He slashed his way through a few more, then cursed and backed off a few yards. If he stayed in any one place for too long, he'd sink knee deep into the mud and be as good as dead.
And again, as if nature was taking cues, the clouds in the darkening sky parted, revealing a perfectly silver orb. For a few seconds, Trunks ignored it, then noticed a sudden burst in speed and strength. He realized that the zombies seemed to be getting smaller, and that he was no longer holding his sword. The world seemed to turn red, but, somehow, his mind remained in tact...So it wasn't until he remembered that he'd grown a tail that he realized what was happening. For a moment, Trunks was horrified that he would soon lose control and kill everything around him. But strangely, he remained in control, even though an urge to eliminate anything that dare challenge him lingered. He also noted that his armor had, for the most part, remained in tact as well.
"Well then...Life just got a bit less annoying. I do believe that I'm suppose to place left foot on green and gray." Trunks chuckled at his suddenly hilarious banter, then stomped on a large portion of the walkers, feeling them go crunch under his boot. He felt a strange pride in being stronger than them, a pride which normally lingered deep in the back of his mind. But now...he felt that any accomplishment was worth gloating about. With laughter that seemed more like a roar, he dropped to his Oozaru knees and smacked his hand against another group of the zombies, staining his glove green and gray and red. Oh...This was a rather enjoyable experience. He suddenly realized why his father always complained about lacking a tail.
Another swipe of the hand smashed dozens of zombies, and even swatted aside a few stupid robots....
Robots that were protecting the girl.
A pang of self spite and hate overwhelmed Trunks, and he suddenly realized that, even if he thought he was in control, this form was an entirely different being. He growled from somewhere deep within, fighting himself over right and wrong. His hands found their way to his head, gripping it tightly as his being crumbled down around him. With a force of will, he rolled away from the RV, and began to thrash about. He was sure that he looked thoroughly stupid, and he knew he was killing zombies at the same time...
For an eternity, he fought with himself. Somewhere in the distance, an explosion sounded once more...He gave a silent prayer that the Android could manage to slay the Creature and get the child to safety. At least then they might managed to...
Ring...Ring...
What the he-
His phone spoke from the Creature's face, and Bulma's voice came. She said something shrill, then shouted at an officer, then finished, "Trunks, I got the army to stop bombing West City. We have a cure--- little Trunks demanded I make something when he saw Night of the Living Dead a few months ago. We'll spread it around, but you try to stay in hiding until the disease is terminated.
Then he heard the phone explode, grunted, and continued fighting with himself.

The creature gave a sweep with its arm toward her, causing her to jump up into the air in order to dodge it, the hilt of her blade coming down to slice directly down its chest; allowing it to roar. Being the special infected that it was, it made her fear about more being around. "My name is Trunks Briefs. If I don't see you after this...Tell Vegeta and his father of the troubles Earth has. If Vegeta doesn't help, tell him Bulma is in danger." This caused her to pause in place, slowly turning her head to look at him, "V-Vegeta-sama...?" She whispered, referring to Vegeta's father, so this kid really was related to them, it wasn't just a feeling. Just then that same clawed hand came right back down toward her, this time smacking into her side and sending her tumbling to the ground, grunting and gasping as she clutched onto the blades of grass and milky mudd in order to stop herself from moving any further away. Her head snapped back up and the silver haired boy was gone; jumping up as she turned toward the large grey beast her sword slashes across its body, blood dripping out, but only barely, showing that it was barely doing much damage as it were. With that first smask down she felt herself losing stamina already, its size wasn't a joke, muscle and strength were maxed with it. Normally she'd use her flames, but using them upon dead flesh wasn't smart - they already smelled bad, why make it worse or have them running toward you on fire? Talk about suicide. Boom A rumble to the ground made her drop to her knees, attempting to regain herself as a few air raid bombs collided with the ground. Something moved in the corner of her eye, a few walkers were making their way back to the RV, most likely where the little girl was found. Shooting her flames out she managed to build a small wall around her and the robots, at least buying them time for a mini-shield until the boy could arrive to help; wherever he was. A sharp pain was felt into her body as its hand came colliding into it, knocking her forward as a small cry sounded, Fighting a sort of tank was never easy and she didn't really want to start now, yet found little choice at this point. The silver haired man ran by to help and this calmed her down a bit more, launching back up toward it, her sword slashing across its neck and head, trying to find a weakspot, but it seemed that removing the entire head was necessary to win this battle. Another explosion sent her back into the ground, letting out a few noises as she tried to push herself up. Her head lifted and she gasped sharply, watching as a hoard of zombies now came toward them, mainly herself considering they didn't want to eat dead flesh of the special infected. Hands frantically grabbed onto the grass behind her, sliding in the mud as she scooted backwards, only to thankfully be saved by the boy who sliced his way though the walkers that neared her. Standing up she found herself leaned forward a tad, panting for breath as she tried to figure a way to remove its entire head, what the easiest way would be. "Android!" Blinking her eyes wider she turned her head to him, only faintly as to not be caught off guard. "See the phone between its nose and upper lip? Get that to explode! It will give you an opening to go for its brain!..Oh, and also, I didn't get your name!" She was shocked that he had figured out she was a Android so quickly, normally she'd be insulted for being called such a thing, but she hadn't minded it. "I'm Luka!" She called back toward him, "and thanks!" Looking toward the placement on which he had described she figured that the best course of action was with her flames; especially if she wanted it to explode. Flames shot from her hands, but the creature had heard them and kept some intelligence in its brain, or what was left of it and turned to avoid the device being hit for quite a while. That's when a familiar roar was sounded, her head turning as she gasped out loudly, taking a step back at the size of the ape standing nearby. That is... King Vegeta had used the same transformation against her in the tournament, so he was related and also a Saiyan. But that's not what frightened her, it's how out of control it made the Saiyan become, doing things that they normally wouldn't want to do. The robots that were protecting the girl were becoming knocked away, or even destroyed and she automatically turned on her heel, darting toward her with inhuman speed, yet it felt like the world was moving in slow motion. Diving forth she tackled the girl into her arms, even if she had a gun, she didn't want her to be alone. The creature followed her, but she leaned back, hugging the child within her grasp and shooting flames out of her other palm which now finally made contact with the phone device within; causing it to explode, blood and flames flinging about. However she had turned to bury the girl under her, to protect her from any blood or anything that could have smacked into her. Not all the zombies were falling to the wrath of the wild monkey, a few were now circling around them, causing her to set the child down into an opening in the tree; a small round depression where an owl normally was located. "Stay. Shoot if any zombies get past me though, okay?" She nodded with a soft whimper, still afraid even with a weapon in hand. She waited until all of them were near her and removed her second sword from its sheath, twirling in a few fast spins as both blades sliced through their necks, continuing to do so until their heads flew off and to the ground below. Her head turned a few times, attempting to make sure that she got them all and then pulled the girl back out and into her arm, running over toward the location of Trunks who was still in ape form. She knew that the tail was the weakness, but if she hit it and Trunks reverted back, it COULD result into him being in danger with the undead surrounding him like that. He was better in that form, at least then he could take care of himself. After lifting her against her shoulder a gunshot was heard, she had just shot a hole through a zombie's head that was coming up from behind. Looking over toward the girl she couldn't help but to chuckle and nod her head, "nice shot." The girl giggled and she ran off with her still clung against her chest and shoulder. Knowing that she could walk on her own, but wanting to make it out of their quickly without getting ambushed was the best idea. A building came into view, it almost seemed to be untouched, so she kicked the door open, her sword extended forward into the darkness. "Watch my back, kay?" The girl nodded, still holding out the gun from behind her as she stepped inside the dark room, attempting to find some sort of light. Her hands fumbled around on something that felt like a desk and picked up a flashlight, clipping it onto her front pocket and switching it on so she'd have a free hand. Her boots creaked on the wooden boards below, glancing her ocean colored optics about the room, making sure that they were alone. Hearing the door close behind them she turned around and blinked to find nobody there. "...Keep an eye out, ne." She whispered and turned back around, kneeling down and reaching into her boot to pull out her own gun that she had taken from the camp site she was at previously. Handing it to her, she now had two guns to point and shoot from, for some reason she felt that more protection was given to the girl that way. "It looks like there are stairs leading up... and still a living room to check out down here." Stepping quietly into the other room she had to lift a hand up and over her mouth, looking at an elderly couple who laid dead upon the sofa, hands held together and a gun in each hand; they had shot each other in the head and died together just like that - to prevent suffering from the plague that was coming at their front door. Coughing softly she lifted that scarf up and over her mouth and nose, tying it there to stay still. "Cover your mouth." She whispered and the girl seemed to have copied her with an artical of clothing. Turning to head up the stairs she heard a noise of something falling down to the floor from the room above. She took in a deep breath and continued their acent, yet haulted when she felt the girl upon her shoulder shaking. "What's wrong?" She whispered and the girl let out a small whimper, "one of those things are in here... I want to go..." A small frown formed on her lips, yet she nodded her head in understanding. There were already dead bodies in this house and possible walkers, they weren't going to stay in here anyway, no point in killing anymore when they could easily be avoided. They needed a safe haven to hide in, and this clearly wasn't one of them. Decending from the stairway once more they quickly exited the house, closing the door behind them, and running back down the street once more. That old farm house which was in the middle of nowhere still had zombies, it made her begin to wonder if there was such things as a safe place to hide anymore. Now that she thought about it, that was the first time she had heard the girl talk, it made her smile as she tried to make a semi-light hearted conversation out of it. "So, what's your name?" She spoke softly and the girl finally lowered the guns a bit, considering they were running at the time and nothing was chasing them. "My name's Calli." Nodding at the name, she actually found it to be a rather pretty one at that, "it's nice to meet you... I'm Luka." The girl let out a small giggle and it actually brought a smile to her face, glad that she was able to help the situation, if only a little. Little did they know that a few shadows were watching them from the windows up above in a building, until one called out to them; as quietly as they could, yet loud enough for them to hear. "Hey! Heeey, over here!" Stopping in her tracks she lifted her head toward tower, noticing a group of people standing at the lowered window of it. They were motioning for them to come and join them and that's when it dawned on her, there was a hoard of zombies further into town, where she was originally headed, she could heard them coming already. "Okay Calli, get your guns at the ready, we're going in." She nodded and held the guns out, her fingers upon the triggers as she watched their backside. Running toward the large gates she reached into her pocket to tug out a paper clip, unwinding it and sticking it within the lock, twisting the two pieces about inside before jerking up; the lock making a click as it became undone. Pushing the gates open the squeak caused a rile of the group of walkers behind them, and she quickly turned to close and relock the gate,at least from their side. However that's when a hand shot through the gate, making her gasp as she tried to pull free from the zombie who was holding onto her arm and trying to pull her toward its mouth. "C-Calli, jump off my back and run to the people waiting at the entrance for you!" The girl hopped down and looked up toward her, "But...!" Luka shook her head as she pressed her boot up against the fence, trying to yank her arm free, yet she knew that she had to be careful, if it scratched her arm... something of the infection could seep into her wound. The people from inside were running out, two African American males came to her side, trying to help remove the creature from her arm without causing harm to the pinklette. A blonde woman ran over and lifted the girl in her arms, taking her back inside with the brunette male with her. The hoard was up on the gates, snarling and attempting to knock it over in order to get their food, it was a brave thing that these survivors had done, at the cost of their own lives, they saved the little girl and herself from walking straight into them. Finally her arm was free and the three of them ran inside, closing the doors behind them, which were quickly blocked with a desk and other items that were downstairs. The woman who had Calli in her arms had pressed the button to the elevator to take them to the top and they all ran inside, making their way to the top of the tower for safety. When arriving at the top there were more survivors that had signs posted up for airplanes to read about their still being people alive inside. Food was being prepared in another room and a few people were sleeping in their pre-made beds. Luka found herself craving for sleep, yet instead she collapsed against the wall, head leaning back against it as she took in a few deep breaths, Calli curling up at her side as the two of them drifted off to sleep; knowing that soon the city was to be saved. At least she hoped so. WC: 2,373 My TWC: 7,320

From a fellow zombie fanatic, I loved this story. Though there were a few mistakes here and there, they can be overlooked. Well done.

Gohan Edit: I personally loved this, and because I thought it was such an outstanding storyline, I'm going to amend the rewards slightly.
