In-Character Rules & Guidelines
NO Godliness! There is no one person in this RPG greater than another (except in terms of stat related instances); everyone begins with an equal advantage of being top dog, which is one of the reasons why people say that this RPG is great. Though “veteran” members will no doubt be higher in stats than newcomers to the site, the only factor that will determine how good or bad you are on this site, in general, is how creative you are, and how good of a writer you are. This rule, RP wise, includes two factors:
- Do not avoid every attack that comes at you.
- Do not automatically hit an opponent (Give them a chance to avoid it).
Clause to the Auto-Hit Rules 01: During a fight, when a person does not respond to an attack after THREE (3) days, it is considered an automatic hit. During important fights (such as a tournament or a major battle in a saga), this rule is downgraded to TWO (2) days in order to speed things up and encourage people to post more.
Clause to the Auto-Hit Rules 02: The main villain of a saga and SAC’s (Special Administrative Characters) have an advantage over normal characters. These characters are allowed special privileges to this rule, since they are stronger opponents and their weaknesses will not be known at first. You may be on the end of a few auto-hits, but the owner of the villain will not be abusive with this power, or it will be stripped from them.
Do Not "Kill" Someone! If you want to "kill" someone, contact them first and check if it is OK. They may want to get something in return; nothing in this world is free. No one likes it when people try and kill our characters without our permission, so do not bother typing "Headbutts in the eye and Kills SUPA Krilling," because you will just be ignored.
Detail: In simplest terms, include as much detail with your posts as you can. We do not ask that you go into so much detail that you have to write essays per post. A basic rule of thumb would be around a couple paragraphs with some detail. Also, do not use run-on sentences for an entire paragraph; "I'm not a very good writer," is not an excuse, because compound/complex sentence structures and paragraphs are studied by all children. However, if you compare the next two paragraphs, you will know exactly what we mean:
- What We Do Not Want - It was quiet at the borders of West City. Very quickly, the Saiyans had destroyed Earth. First went the Guardians Tower and Korins sacred land, followed quickly by West and Satan City and East City before North City and even Kami House, thanks to the help of the King of Earth who had made the best decision in this war choosing to surrender and side with the Saiyans instead of fighting them. Soon enough the Saiyans would turn against Earth’s army once they had taken over the planet but this maybe the meanwhile would give the Humans enough time to create a plan.
- What We Do Want - Silence. Perhaps the most difficult item to locate on Earth, and thanks to current events it was all the more rare. To discover it resting within the borders of West City, in the middle of a war no less, was nothing short of a miracle. Though it had only been a short while, the Saiyans had took to Earth like a flock of vultures to a fresh corpse; leaving nothing but the stripped clean bones of destruction in their wake.
First came the Guardians Lookout, then the surrounding sacred lands of Korin, followed shortly by the swift occupations of East and North City; soon after, in possibly one of the most disgusting showcases of massacre in Earths history, the fall of West and Satan City. During this time, it was the King of Eath who arguably made the best decision in this war; choosing to surrender and side with the invaders rather than fighting against them. The Saiyan forces would positively turn against Earth’s military once their goals were reached, but this "treaty" granted the Humans with enough time to create a counter plan.
Do you see the difference? But, of course, we do understand that sometimes you will have writers block or something like that (another example, you only can reply with one line towards the current response because of vagueness). Just try not to do it excessively. This is not a bannable offence, but more of a Guideline to follow. [/b]
Most of these rules & guidelines are RP based, and do not apply to Stat situations.[/b]
