Goten's body felt electric, as he high tailed his way through the crowd. The teenager's face was decorated with a worried cross between a smirk and a frown, telling nearly the whole tale for anyone who knew Goten even semi-well. The boy had a nasty habit of attempting to pick up on women who he had little chance with, even on Earth. Now that he had finally come to Vegeta? Well, now they had big strong boyfriends, who didn't like it when strange Earth half-breeds hit on their mates. Unbeknownst to them however, Goten happened to be in the same family as the two strongest people he knew.
"Gohaaaaaaaan!", his fluctuating voice reached over the hustle and bustle of the marketplace, hopefully reaching his unwitting brother. Gohan should have known to expect this from him by now! Highstepping and outright pushing through merchants on his way to his elder brother, the youth glanced backward through the still sifting crowd, hoping to avoid catching eyes with his bulky pursuer. Sucking in a contained breath of air as he locked eyes with the Alpha of Squad Gamma, Goten turned his head back forward. Pattchoy was not a Saiyan he should have crossed.
Still, his girlfriend shouldn't have been so pretty! Personally, Goten blamed him. It wasn't his fault he liked to look at pretty girls! Pattchoy should have been less defensive, and let him buy her some delicious Ice Cream!...Did Vegeta even HAVE ice cream? As the startling realization rocked his mind that Planet Vegeta may have been experiencing a crippling shortage of ice cream, a single bead of sweat ran down his brow, traveling it's way to his neck.
Finally pushing through to make it to his elder brother, Goten came to a stop beside him, urgently placing a hand on Gohan's shoulder and rushing off into a hurried and unprepared speech. Although he found himself in this position every time they went to the market, he still hadn't found a tried and true way to phrase what he was about to say to his buddy and bro. "So, Gohan! We're brothers, right?Well, I kinda need you're help, y'see. That uh...You ever meet Kinestha? Really pretty...But uh-uh...Pattchoy and his guys aren't really nice, y'see?"
Smiling nervously as Gamma squad pushed through the throngs of people behind him, Goten turned to examine them while maintaining his hand on his brother's shoulder. "Oh! H-Hey, Pattchoy! You ever meet my older brother, Gohan?", words that would otherwise sound perfectly nonthreatening. Unfortunately for Pattchoy, the Son Boys were anything but normal. They had been raised by the strongest Saiyan in the universe and it showed in their own natural abilities.
To an observer, of which there were plenty moving out of the way, the two young men would look outmatched. It was the entirety of Gamma Squad, freshly rejuvenated, against two young men who were wearing strange Earth clothes. Goten himself was wearing his trademarked shirt, which displayed his name proudly. He'd bought it after a world tournament, so many years ago and kept it as a momento and comfort object. So far from home, it was only natural he'd wear it. His lower body was clothed in a pair of black and white striped training pants, topped off by his father's old training shoes.
The Saiyans however, were decked out in less than standard issue armor. Their leader Pattchoy was wearing a single spiked shoulder guard, likely to impale his enemy with. The others had stripped themselves of their shoulder guards. As the spike shone under the bright suns of Planet Vegeta's solar system, Goten couldn't help but worry a little about that spike. He didn't wanna see his shirt on top of it later, when things got heavy.
That was, unless his smarter and wiser older brother could talk his way out of things. With the attitude and appearance of Gamma Squad however, it didn't seem very likely. They were dressed and ready for battle in the hot summer sun, in Vegeta City's Grand Bazaar. Clenching his fingers tightly into a fist, the youth reassured himself by squeezing Gohan's shoulder, whilst awaiting his response to the sticky situation. Gohan probably knew what to do.
He always did! WC: 742

It had been an eventful day to say the least. After the Tuffle threat had been taken care of as well as it could be, with a thorough search of the surroundings areas within the city having been completed, both Gohan and Kabbar finally left the area while they began the journey back towards the Royal Palace. Gohan needed to urgently speak to the King, not to mention he also needed to debrief him on the previous battle as well. However, whatever had actually happened to bring the young hybrid to planet Vegeta in the first place, and to cause all the other strange occurrences, he had soon discovered that he had not been the only one to be brought to this distant planet.
A short while after beginning his journey towards the palace, Gohan had coincidentally bumped into his younger brother, Goten. Gohan had been surprised beyond belief and ecstatic to see his younger brother! Goten had been the last person Gohan had expected to see show up on planet Vegeta, but it felt goof to know that he was not alone in this unexplained and mysterious crisis.
The two brothers, both drastically sticking out due to their attire when stood against the Saiyans that were moving through the city, then proceeded to talk about their experiences. Gohan took it slowly, mainly just listening to what Goten had to say, but in the end it appeared as if Goten knew just as much as Gohan did on the matter, perhaps even less, and so Gohan decided to drop the subject all together; he could wait until he saw the King before dwelling on it further, for now he would enjoy the fact his brother was here wit him!
This was Goten’s first visit to planet Vegeta, after all, and so Gohan decided that he would allow his younger brother some time to explore the marketplace before he continued onward to the palace. Kabbar had protested, and despite technically no longer being under Gohan’s command, he had soon settled on the idea after listening to Gohan’s reasoning; though the hybrid had a strange feeling that Kabbar still disagreed. It would only be a thirty minute delay, give or take a few minutes. What could possibly go wrong in such a short amount of time?
"Gohaaaaaaaan!" the voice sounded out across the busy marketplace, resonating above and beyond all the other noises. Gohan found himself cringing slightly at the sound of his name being bellowed. He knew that voice anywhere.
“Goten…” Gohan muttered, turning around from looking at one of the many stalls, in an attempt to spot his younger brother, though he could not see him through the masses. Seconds past and sure enough Goten burst through a small group of Saiyans, almost knocking a smaller woman off balance, though the youthful hybrid didn’t even seem to take any notice as he bounded towards his older brother.
He had barely stopped moving when he quickly began talking. "So, Gohan! We're brothers, right?” he started with, placing his hand on Gohan’s shoulder.
One of Gohan’s eyebrows raised at the question. “What have you done?” he asked, a hint of humour underlining his voice.
“Well, I kinda need you're help, y'see. That uh...You ever meet Kinestha? Really pretty…” Gohan quickly jumped in at the slight gap in the conversation.
Gohan knew exactly where this was going now. While Gohan had always been quite shy and timid with women, never feeling totally comfortable talking to them, his younger brother was quite the opposite. In truth it was a quality in Goten that Gohan couldn’t help but admire, though it always caused so much trouble when it wasn’t linked with his common sense. “Kinestha? Oh not again Goten…” In truth Kinestha was a very attractive woman, so Gohan couldn’t blame his younger brother for being interested in her. However, there was one problem with that…
“But uh-uh...Pattchoy and his guys aren't really nice, y'see?"
Gohan found his right palm pressed against his own forehead as he shook his head. “How did I know you were going to say that?” he asked rhetorically.
At precisely that moment there was a bit of a commotion from the direction Goten had exploded into view from, with Gamma squad pushing through the crowds, Pattchoy leading the small group. Gohan sighed inwardly but his expression remained entirely impassive. He felt Goten’s grip on his shoulder tighten slight, most likely in apprehension, as Gamma Squad stopped directly in front of the two Son brothers. Goten was the first to break the silence.
"Oh! H-Hey, Pattchoy! You ever meet my older brother, Gohan?"
Smooth bro, real smooth. Gohan thought somewhat sarcastically, though he didn’t speak. Pattchoy and Gohan had previously had slight confrontations, though all of which had been aimed at Gohan’s ‘half-breed heritage’. However, Pattchoy and his small group of goons all knew that Gohan was superior to them in terms of power; at least he had been, before he had once again lost his powers…the hybrid just hoped the same went for Pattchoy and Gamma Squad.
Gohan knew that talking sense to these guys, especially Pattchoy, would be a complete waste of time. They were Saiyans! Only attitude and dominance would sway them, and even that coming from Gohan would be hard pressed to work, especially considering the fact the Son brothers were outnumbered.
“There a problem?” Gohan finally said, somewhat coldly. Pattchoy wasted no time in replying.
“Actually there is half-breed. This little weakling was moving in on MY woman.” the stereotypical alpha male attitude form Pattchoy was almost entertaining; even his size was somewhat akin to that of a silverback gorilla, which was ironic considering how linked to monkey’s Saiyans were.
“Unless Kinestha was interested in my little brother then there’s no issue. And even if she was, it’d be your issue Pattchoy, not ours.” Gohan stated firmly. At that moment Gohan noticed movement at the very edge of his peripheral vision. Slightly turning his head to look at what it was, he noticed Kabbar returning from another stall, silently moving in behind Gohan and Goten and simply watching Pattchoy and the rest of Gamma squad with his usual cold expression. At least that’s evened the odds somewhat. Gohan found himself thinking.
“Now why don’t you all leave…or are you looking to make a scene?”

As Pattchoy's fingers curled at his sides, he appeared to be mulling over the elder youth's argument. Surely, there was no way that Kinestha had been interested in that runt on the right. Goten was a young man, surely, but his power level couldn't be that high. Then you had his eccentric dress and mannerisms, added onto a fixation for some creamy delight known mysteriously as, 'Ice Cream'. Who iced cream? It would still taste the same, but frozen and harder to eat. The mysteries of the boy only grew and grew.
Or at least, that's what Goten's mental narration of the moment was telling him. Pattchoy was probably thinking about beating his face, Gohan's face, or that other guy's face in. While Goten's face may have been a more vulnerable target, he had faith that his brother could hold his own against the squad leader. Swallowing a big ball of saliva in an Audible gulp, Goten watched as Pattchoy dropped his shoulders, appearing almost to relax. A Saiyan Warrior, relaxing? That was never something you wanted. He'd heard a story from Gohan or two, during their initial meeting on Vegeta.
Saiyans were like crazy rhinos in armchairs; they relaxed before charging. Pattchoy's head turned whilst issuing orders to his men, barking them out as the crowd around them melted away. They didn't want to be a part of this, if they weren't beating the boys down themselves. It was clear that fights and disputes were handled with mild privacy on the desert planet. Violence was clearly also a portion of this belief system, as Pattchoy's shoulder guard seemed to promise. "Orion, Itza, take the other two. I want to deal with the 'hero' over there."
He emphasized Gohan with malice, letting all know what he thought of the half breed and his heroics. Apparently, saving Planet Vegeta wasn't a very credible deed. As the squad spread out, Goten released his grip from his brother's shoulder. He wasn't going to tie up Gohan's attention. He'd need it all to defeat Pattchoy, the Saiyan Elite. All Goten had Kabbar had to take care of were Orion and Itza, a pair with just over half the strength of their leader. Still, that strength wasn't something Goten wanted to find himself on the other end of in the first place.
"Watch out for that spike, big brother."
Then after Goten's brief advice, it had begun. As soon as Goten detached from Gohan, Pattchoy's squad lead forward in a vicious charge, likely hoping to overwhelm the group with speed. Licking his lips as he kicked himself up off of the ground, Goten tried his darndest to lead Orion away from Itza and Pattchoy. If he got Gohan hurt, or a stranger like Kabbar hurt, he'd never be able to live it down. Especially since they were both pretty nice guys; why would he want to get them hurt on purpose?
Energy conjured up around the boy as Orion drew closer, the full blooded fighter's fist pulling back in anticipation of a strong blow. Goten's eyes had picked up on the tensing of his muscles, the sudden spring-like nature of his body; it was advice Gohan had given him. Pick up on the signs of attack before they happened, and you wouldn't have to dodge a surprise attack. So far, it'd been some solid advice, and had helped the half breed out of more than a few tight situations in his life.
Goten's fingers tensed, forming a beautiful display of fireworks in his palm. He could feel the energy leaving his body to gather in the already warm air, which for all he knew, could have added to the power he was preparing. Still frowning as the pool of energy formed into a semi solid ball, the youth pulled back his other hand, bringing it just behind his shaggy black head. Taking care not to burn his hair off, he kept track of Orion's incoming advance. If he didn't release this discharge soon, the Saiyan would get within striking range; that was something he definitely didn't want!
Releasing a short grunt as the second bit of golden energy solidified, the boy awaited his time to strike. He'd need to hit him at an arc, otherwise the blasts would miss and careen off into the crowd. Focusing on Orion's body mass, the youth kept climbing higher and higher, trying to keep his eyes away from the battle unfolding beneath him. Hopefully, big brother was embarrassing Pattchoy. Holding back a grin at the thought of Pattchoy's head stuck in the ground whilst the rest of his body wiggled, Goten struck like a coiled viper.
Energy exploded forth from the first palm, whipping out like a frisbee disk to impact his opponent's arcing gut. It stumbled the Saiyan, forcing his back to curl up in mid-air as a cloud of smoke broke free of the impact area. He'd curled his back; that was awesome! Slinging the second blast downward as his opponent placed a hand on his gut, Goten watched it arc solidly into his back plate.
The initial reaction was one that he hadn't intended. Smoke and dust rose off of the armor like it had been made of the stuff, filling the air around them with a mixture of intensity and actual, physical things, that only offered a tactical advantage to those who could sense energy. Hopefully, this guy wasn't one of them!Keeping his eyes on the center mass of smoke, which was now flowering out toward his drifting position, the young man couldn't help but wonder about his question. Unfortunately and fortunately at the same time, he got his answer when Orion's fist slammed into his chin.
"Ugh!", he recoiled backward, his body flying through the air to even higher altitudes. So, it'd be a battle in the sky then?
"You just take care of them, brother. I got this guy.", the youth released words of confidence from between his previously held silent lips. Blood had managed to dribble out, so he should be allowed a word or two in edge wise. Wiping his chin free of the blood, Goten prepared himself for his opponent's next assault; hopefully he could end it for him right there, and get back to Gohan and Kabbar.
They apparently had things to do, and he didn't wanna make them late.

Pattchoy’s firsts seemingly clenched just at the sound of Gohan’s voice, though the elder hybrid was more inclined to believe it was due to his definite and partially aggressive words. He was clearly thinking, his bulky cogs of thought no doubt having great difficulty processing and formulating coherent strands of cognitive thought in a tangible string; Gohan could only imagine how difficult the entire process was for a Neanderthal such as Pattchoy.
Nevertheless, it seemed more and more likely with each passing second that Pattchoy was not about to just turn around a leave without further issue. In truth it had always been a long shot, and Gohan had never really thought it would work. These full-blooded Saiyans were a prideful bunch, just like Vegeta had always been, which meant they were more likely to rush into a battle that they could not win just to appease their sense of honour and pride. The only problem was that Gohan had no idea whether or not this was a fight that Pattchoy and his goons could win.
Finally Pattchoy turned his head to address his two squad mates, though he still primarily kept his sight pinned on Gohan. "Orion, Itza, take the other two. I want to deal with the 'hero' over there." the commands would be listened to without question, which meant that Gohan’s attempts had failed and there was but one way out of this situation; as the victors.
With that Pattchoy and the squad began to fan out in front of the Son brothers and Kabbar, strategically moving towards their designated target so they could better attack. This meant that Gohan needed not move, as Pattchoy was already standing directly ahead of him. Kabbar merely moved off to the right, walking somewhat casually with his arms folded, his cold eyes never leaving Itza, his target, while Goten’s hand remained upon Gohan’s shoulder.
"Watch out for that spike, big brother." his younger brother advised. It was sound advice. Gohan nodded in response. However, with that Goten released his grip on Gohan’s shoulder it seemed that the fight was on, as Pattchoy and the squad sprung forward on the attack.
The two Son brothers and Kabbar all reacted differently to the sight of their attackers moving towards them, each no doubt holding their own personal strategy based on their oncoming opponent. Goten instantly sprung upward and took to the air, drawing the Siayan known as Orion away from the rest of the group. Kabbar rushed forward towards Itza, surprising him in the process, and as the two met they began to exchange a barrage of blows with each other. Gohan pounced backwards through the air, extending the time it took for Pattchoy to reach him.
As Gohan’s feet pressed down against the ground Pattchoy was upon him, his huge fist pulled back against his chest. Gohan had noticed it, but hadn’t planned on Pattchoy catching him so soon. Before the elder hybrid could pounce backwards again Pattchoy unleashed his fist at Gohan like a coiled spring. Gohan threw both of his arms up in front of his chest in an ‘X’ shape and as his feet lifted up off of the floor the punch hit its mark against his forearms, forcing him backwards through the air far faster than he had originally intended to move.
He packs a punch! was the firs thing that rushed through Gohan’s mind as his back crashed down against the floor. Before his body had even stopped sliding across the floor, Gohan was forcing himself back onto his feet. He had gained enough space from both Goten and Kabbar now, meaning he had also drew Pattchoy away from his two goons as well. A grin briefly crept into the very corner of his mouth as Pattchoy advanced yet again, the same arm pulled back into the same position for the same sort of attack; he was strong, likely stronger than Gohan physically, but Pattchoy was nothing if not predictable.
As the punch yet again rocketed forward towards Gohan, the elder hybrid threw his right palm across his body and parried the punch at the last second, causing Pattchoy to stumble in the direction of the parry. With his opponents body open for countering Gohan clenched his own fist and moved in for a punch, but before it hit its mark it was stopped dead as Pattchoy’s large palm wrapped around it. He’d managed to recover enough to block the attack. A smug grin spread across Pattchoy’s face at his achievement.
Maybe I’ve given him too little credit. but that line of thought was interrupted by the sound of his brothers voice echoing across the area.
"You just take care of them, brother. I got this guy." Goten exclaimed, though Gohan had no idea how his younger brother was holding up against Orion.
“Good,” Gohan bellowed in response, still struggling against Pattchoy’s superior strength. “Then lets get this over with!” Gohan’s words were met with a battle cry from Kabbar, which help to slightly draw Pattchoy’s attention enough for Gohan to break the stalemate. With a twist of his body Gohan sharply sent his knee crashing into Pattchoy’s armour protected gut. It likely hurt Gohan’s knee more than it did his opponents stomach, but the surprise of the attack was enough to loosen Pattchoy’s grip on his fist.
Now free he pulled it back and slammed it into Pattchoy’s cheek, sending the bulky Saiyan flying backwards through the air. Without wasting another moment Gohan dived through the air, giving chase to his opponent. He hoped that both Goten and Kabbar were fairing equally as well as he was, if not better.

Goten's fists rose to chest level, patting together to form a soft thudding noise, before backing off. One hand formed itself into a palm, for his other fist to slam into. Upon impact, a loud crack could be heard, whistling through the air as the boy reached the true top of his arc. Pattchoy's goon was below him now, preparing for Goten's descent with a mixture of anticipation and what could be interpreted as Glee. He was betting any amount of zeni that Goten's face was going to fall right into his fist. Unfortunately, Goten was not the kinda guy to walk straight into that stuff.
Frowning as his body began to fall down, he bent his knees in toward his body, spiraling toward Orion with a determination that hadn't been seen since his child hood. Yeah, this guy had him ready and raring to go. Clenching both fists together in his fall, the youth let his energy explode out into an aura of sky blue around him, contrasting the pink sky of Planet Vegeta with it's shine. Focusing his power into the area around him, the young man allowed his muscles to relax. He was part Saiyan; fighting was natural for him, so there was no need to tense up.
As their bodies met in the air, the clash emerged. Goten struck first, his fist snaking forward to halt where Orion's face had been mere milliseconds prior. He instantly knew the next step in their dance; bringing his arm up to defend against a swinging fist from his opponent. Orion's hand slammed into Goten's band-covered wrist with all of his might, forcing his arm to bend inward slightly from the full brunt of his attack. Grunting as the elder fighter strained in his efforts to break through to his face, Goten relented.
Pulling his body backward with a mid-air flip, the youth went into hawk dive form; leaning forward at his opponent, he let himself speed up. Hopefully, he could accelerate this battle, before things got out of hand-- and before he hit the ground on nothing but concrete. He had noticed earlier his inability to fly, something that both displeased him, but didn't bother him too much. He still had the ability to jump super high, as evidenced by his previous feat of leaping this high in the first place. Why would he need to fly?
Taking advantage of his high speed low control falling form, Orion took advantage by sending a wild flurry of punches in at the half breed's face. His assault was met with little success, only a few blows grazing the young man's body. One pretty nasty strike collided with his shoulder, but because it was made out of mostly bone, he felt little sting. It'd probably leave a bruise he'd have to explain to Mom if they made it home soon enough; now that, was much more dangerous than the actual, physical strike.
As his body came within the full guard of his opponent, energy once more was filtered into his left hand. Sparks and bright flashes of light erupted from thin air, as Goten shifted his body back to regular fighting position. It was now that he could work the talents his father had passed down to him. Gritting his teeth as he went to work, Goten considered the strength his ki blasts seemed to possess. While less potent here on Vegeta, surely a solid blast to the face could rid him of his Orion problem for a few hours.
Batting away one of Orion's more accurate punches, Goten replied with a quick swipe to the cheek, which was as intended, swatted away with a solid amount of force. Both fighters entered a spin, both for far different reasons. Goten's spin was to increase his velocity, and get a more powerful energy strike on his opponent. Orion's spin was so that he could come around and nail Goten with a strong physical kick. However, only one of them was destined to connect, and it was to be the victor of the battle.
Or, so it went in conventional fights. The Son Family never had a conventional threat to deal with; as was the case with this one right here. Releasing a guttural roar, the youth came to a final motion in his spin. Orion's body turned at nearly the same time, just a little slower than Goten's younger, faster physique. The fist of energy slammed hard into Orion's face, sending him spiraling off to the left and toward the ground. It was now that Goten planned on ending this battle with a bomb ending.
As Orion's body continued spinning in the air, Goten let his blast free. Energy forced his shoulder to kick backwards with his body, both slowing his descent and increasing the damage of the combination. As the first blast released, he shot out a weaker, second ki blast toward his opponent. The energy inside of his body continued mounting as he placed his right hand upon his left wrist, releasing pulse after pulse of dangerous ki energy toward his opponent, each one finding it's smokey mark upon Orion. The Saiyan's body continued to spin as he hit the ground, rolling along the sand and knocking over several merchants.
Well; that part hadn't been in the plan.
Feet touching the ground with a hard 'kchink', the young half breed turned his eyes to Gohan's unfolding fight, eager to see if there was any way for him to help. He wasn't worried about Kabbar, since he seemed pretty capable...But Gohan was different. No matter how strong your family was, you always worried about them. Pushing his body up into an erect position, Goten began approaching the area he had seen them last, hoping to catch a glimpse of what was going on.
"Don't let him beat you up, 'kay brother!?", he called out to his sibling with a mixture of genuine playfulness, and worry. Hopefully, if Gohan WAS in danger, Goten's verbal aid could help him out. After all, Gohan would never let his brother down by denying Goten's need. Goten didn't need an A in Quan-...Qun...Quanto...SCIENCE[/i] to know that much about his older brother. Kabbar’s more direct assault against his target had worked perfectly. Obviously this Itza had not heard of Kabbar, and by extension had completely underestimated him, assuming that the relatively unknown Saiyan would go on the defensive. He obviously doesn’t know who he’s dealing with then. Kabbar thought as he inwardly smirked, because he wouldn’t have dared broken his ice-cold, emotionless state that he wore on his face during battle. At any rate, his strategy had caused Itza to be partially taken by surprise, and as such their combative barrage of physical blows had only last but a few moments before Kabbar began to gain the advantage.
Itza wasn’t the most physically intimidating Saiyan that Kabbar had ever seen, in fact he would have gone as far to say that he was little more intimidating that Gohan’s younger brother. However, he was more slender than Kabbar, which meant he had a level of agility in his movements that Kabbar’s somewhat bigger form lacked. However, his speed wasn’t enough to hit Kabbar or to avoid his blows forever, and after a good twenty to thirty seconds of a consistent period within the barrage that neither mans attacks were landed, Kabbar scored a shockingly powerful right punch across Itza’s jaw, effectively putting an end to Itza’s attacks.
That wouldn’t stop Kabbar though, not until his opponent was effectively out of commission and no longer a potential threat; he hadn’t survived this long by doing half-arsed jobs. As Itza stumbled to the side from the force of the impact Kabbar rushed in pursuit. The larger of the two Saiyan ducked down and ran beyond Itza’s stumbled position, before turning on his heel and pouncing upward, his now lifted knee slamming into the unsuspecting underside of Itza’s jaw. A sickening crack resonated through the marketplace, one that Kabbar could only assume was Itza’s jaw breaking in some sense.
As Itza’s body lifted up off of the floor, arching through the air before crashing down against the ground, Kabbar merely landed and slipped into a stance that would allow him to effectively defend against any form of surprise counterattack; there was none. Allowing himself to relax, at least enough to stand up straight, Kabbar slowly moved towards his downed opponent, who was now rolling about on the floor while clutching his jaw. As the larger Saiyan got closer he noticed a sizeable amount of blood pouring from his opponents mouth.
Must have bit his tongue as I struck him. it wasn’t a thought born from concern, but rather a cold observation. It mattered very little to Kabbar, for while they were both Saiyans, in this moment they were nothing more than opponents to him, in a fight that had not yet been truly finished. When Kabbar was finally standing over Itza, looking down at his opponent, he noticed fear in his eyes. Finally Kabbar allowed his inner smirk to press through the slate of ice that was his expression, just enough for it to become visible on the outside.
He lifted his right foot and brought it down against the partially raised head of Itza, striking him on the forehead. The Saiyan’s head slammed back down against the floor, the edge of Kabbar’s boot opening up a gash on his forehead, but it matter not because Itza had been knocked unconscious; this part of the battle was over. Turning away from his opponent, Kabbar looked at the rest of what had become this battlefield, to see how his other two comrades were fairing…
Meanwhile…
Right and then left. A left followed up once more, spinning on his right heel as he brought his left foot up, but again with no avail. Since his last strike it appeared as if each attack by Gohan had seemingly been blocked or avoided by Pattchoy, though likewise the larger Saiyan couldn’t appear to land any on his opponent either. He was large, too slow to strike at Gohan effectively, but Gohan was too weak to break through Pattchoy’s defences; it was a stalemate, of sorts, but one that Gohan had to break.
Annoyance suddenly gripped Gohan and latching onto it he threw a reckless right hook that Pattchoy avoided with ease. Gohan realised his mistake as soon as he had made it, just by the smug look of satisfaction on Pattchoy’s face as he ducked down underneath Gohan’s punch; what was coming next would no doubt be painful. He didn’t see it coming, but he knew it was, and when Pattchoy’s large fist slammed into his stomach it almost lifted Gohan up off of the floor. He felt his internal organs cry out in pain as they partially shifted around the shape of the fist; or at least that’s how Gohan imagined it at that moment.
The elder hybrid stumbled backwards from the hit, clutching at his stomach with his hands. Unlike the other Saiyans here, his brother not included, Gohan was not wearing any form of armour, in fact his clothing might has well offered him no protection at all. Pattchoy would no doubt attempt to capitalize on his advantage, which Gohan was already preparing himself for. As hurt as the elder hybrid appeared to be, a portion of it as being acted to lead Pattchoy into a false sense of security; it wasn’t always brute strength that won a battle, and Gohan knew this. Pattchoy began his charge.
“Don't let him beat you up, 'kay brother!?" Goten shouted out from nearby, though Gohan didn’t allow his attention to waver; he couldn’t afford it to. However, Pattchoy hadn’t been as smart.
Just as he was about to reach Gohan his attention flickered to that of Goten’s voice, his brutish clothes-line of an attack being far too noticeable and easy to dodge. Gohan took two quick steps forward and broke into a slide, throwing his body feet forward towards Pattchoy’s legs. The gap was just big enough and his momentum fast enough to take Gohan clean through Pattchoy’s legs as he continued to run forward, but as he slipped through he grabbed on to his ankles, yanking them out from underneath him and sending Pattchoy crashing down onto his face.
Turning his body, Gohan pressed his hands and knees into the floor, bringing him to a stop as he turned to face Pattchoy. At that moment his larger opponent was just pushing himself up from his face, turning in a sitting position to try and get a glimpse of where Gohan was. With the force of a coiled spring Gohan shot forward at Pattchoy, slamming his knee into his face without warning or hesitation. The force sent Pattchoy flying backwards across the floor, smashing through a stall on the over side of the market, nearby where his two comrades had been dealt with.
Slowly Gohan stood up, both Goten and Kabbar having joined him and moved to either side of him. They were the three still standing. Hopefully this display of power would prove enough to force Pattchoy and his two goons, unconscious or not, to leave and not continue this battle. But if they insisted on it, Gohan was ready to end this.

Placing a hand casually against his hip, the younger Son child put the other inside of his shaggy mop, hiding it from sight. He'd have to get rid of his hair eventually, but for now, he could play with it to his heart's extent. It was just so much harder for him to ignore the heat with that warm mop top up there! Besides, all his family had such short hair...Then again, he liked being different. It wasn't like he was going to have to decide the situation now, or anything. They had plenty of time to do whatever they wanted.
"We showed them pretty good, didn't we bro? Er...And, guy.", Goten gestured idly to Kabbar, trying to make his intention known. He didn't want to be thought of as inconsiderate, especially in the face of such a friendly guy. He had helped them out, and ignoring him would be pretty impolite. Smiling at his new buddy, he turned his eyes back to his brother. Gohan was more or less the leader of their small band, something the younger brother didn't care to dispute. There was no need to, as the older sibling was the undoubtedly smarter one.
He was also the diplomatic one, the strong one; Goten was the shadow. He wouldn't be for long though. The young one knew that he'd have to blaze his own trail in the annals of history, if not in so many large words. Goten had never been the best with words after all, and he couldn't really be counted on to compose an epic poem in order to describe feats of heroism or tales of future glories. With the knowledge that it was time to move forward with their actual, planned course of action, Goten apologized for the distraction. "Sorry about that again, by the way. I uh- I didn't think Pattchoy was gonna get so mad at me."
It truly had been a pretty unfortunate curve ball.
"So, what's next, big brother? Headed to see the King or somethin', right?"; Goten had needed to speak to King Vegeta himself. Now that the women were out of the way, he could focus himself a little more toward the task at hand. Some unpleasant happenings were going on around Planet Vegeta. The place was in complete turmoil, with various factions vying for control of a government in decline. Was it the planet's recent reemergence, or was it something else entirely? Could it have been that the Saiyans weren't the only race to come back from the pale?
Clapping his brother on the back, Goten smiled and sent a few words of encouragement to his elder brother, in order to hurry them along. He didn't want to get side tracked by a pretty face, or otherwise distracted by something that really shouldn't have caught his attention for longer than a second. "Let's go then! We don't wanna miss him or somethin'."
Hopefully, King Vegeta wasn't too busy on this particular day, to see the Rivals of his entire family. Usually, a Saiyan's pride would allow that request a granting chance. No way he'd pass up a chance to see the people who opposed the entirety of his kin since birth. Yeah, it was a one sided rivalry and a one sided friendship toward the top of each listing, but regardless. He would still likely entertain an audience of Goku's kinship; they were Goku's kids.
C'mon man, who denied the Sons of Son Goku?

As the small band of brothers, quite literally with Gohan and Goten, stood and watched their downed opponents, ready for any potential threat. However, one never came. Slowly but surely Pattchoy forced himself up off of the ground, his unstable legs shaking under the weight of his own immense body as he staggered to the side and helped Orion, who Goten had seemingly handled with relative ease, up off of the floor; Gohan found that he was mildly entertained by their stumbling uneasiness.
The two of them then proceeded to move to their last companion, Itza, who was still laying flat on his back and unconscious. As they helped him up, one on either shoulder, he still didn’t seem to awake, his legs hanging to the ground limply. Gohan shared a glance with Kabbar and shook his head with a slight laugh, who in return simply showed the slightest of smirks. His new Saiyan friend had enjoyed dealing with Pattchoy and his goons of Gamma Squad, Gohan could tell. However, their attention was once again captured when Pattchoy spoke.
“I won’t forget this half-breed.” he spat. “I’ll kill you for this…for this…”
“Humiliation?” Gohan added, though in hindsight it probably wasn’t the best idea; even if Kabbar actually let out the shortest of laughs over it.
Pattchoy seemed to go red in the face from this, though whether it was in embarrassment or anger he didn’t know; he assumed a bit of both. “You’re all dead men! You! Your brother! And you stranger!” and with that both Pattchoy and Orion turned on their heels and began to drag Itza through the crowd; Gohan didn’t relax properly until they had vanished from sight, at which point the let out a loud sigh.
"We showed them pretty good, didn't we bro? Er...And, guy." Goten said, gesturing friendly to Kabbar. Gohan laughed and patted his brother on the shoulder.
“Goten, this is Kabbar. Kabbar, this my little brother.” the elder hybrid explained. Kabber nodded his head briefly.
“Maybe power runs in the blood of you hybrids.” was all that his usually quiet comrade decided to say, though that in itself was a compliment.
"Sorry about that again, by the way. I uh- I didn't think Pattchoy was gonna get so mad at me." Goten continued, apologising for the entire situation. Gohan laughed and shook his head, but before he could say anything Goten carried on. "So, what's next, big brother? Headed to see the King or somethin', right? Let's go then! We don't wanna miss him or somethin'." Gohan had to give his younger brother one thing; he was always looking at what was next!
Gohan nodded in response. “Yeah little brother, it’s time we saw the King. He’ll want an update on, well, everything - and I have a lot to talk about with him.” Gohan grinned, looking between both of them. He realised Goten had no idea of everything Gohan had been through since originally coming to Vegeta; he’d no doubt be surprised of his older brothers affiliation to the King. “Well, no time like the present!” and with that the three Saiyans were on their way to the palace once more.
