Can we by any chance have some alternatives to the current weapons available for the starter professions?
Seriously I cannot see my Android wielding a staff weapon. Maybe some techie stargate-esque Go'uald glove device instead, but a staff?
Just a thought.

Well, you don't have to use the actual weapon. I for example, RP Goten as weaponless, even though I have a dagger.

Yeah, you don't have to use the weapon for IC purposes if you don't want to. Like Goten, I have a staff due to my profession, but Gohan IC doesn't own a staff. The only time the weapons HAVE to be taken into account are during battles when you'd use them (in an RP battle you could still ignore this though, however a stat-battle may be different - but as they're not set up yet, it shouldn't be an issue).
Don't worry though, varying weapons and new armour will be added to the stores soon.
