It was just rumor but a powerful orb that could grant any wish?
A chilling sort of excitement ran up Will’s artificial spine as she entered the mountainous region preceding North City. The air was brisk and clean despite the proximity to a major point of human civilization. Really people just had to expand and build wherever they damn well felt like. Then thought occurred to her… It had been pure chance that she had heard about this… Dragon’s Balls. Not something the average person knew about.
How was she going to find it?
That thought stopped her in her mid-flight, the dark brown landscape shifting instantly from a blur to a shadowy, an almost creepy looking horizon. Dagger like mountain spires loomed like a death threat to her for stopping here, not that she cared. The only threat that could possibly deal with her was Satan-sama and right now world busting tournaments weren’t on her agenda at the moment. But what was she going to do about the fact that she had no idea what a Dragon’s ball looked like nor how to find any information as to how locate one of them or even use it.
The wind broke through the pass she had paused in barely buffeting her body, but it was enough to be annoying and it was getting dark. Sighing she'd have to settle here for the night.
That did give her and idea in the meantime… with little other recourse she drew on her power in most obvious way possible as light. Shadows lanced out in every direction as the sun began fully dipping behind North City. Just how much light could she make? If it was enough she could probably fly the rest of the way.
Best time to test a theory was in the present.
More energy began to flood into her fist, as she began concentrate it. With a jerk of her hand she threw the bolt into the air and as it reached a good height she released the control of the blast. White iridescent light erupted into brilliant display of polychromatic flashes and eruptions. Apparently the air didn’t take to kindly to such a display though as a gale whipped up dust in every direction… A loud explosive crack didn’t help matters either.
“Damn…” she growled. To much force and not enough heat?
Within seconds the light was dying away again and the sun was almost gone now. Sighing, Will began to charge up another blast. The next was even worse, less light and more explosion. What was she doing wrong?
One more?
