A small gurgling noise resounded within Gohan's ear. It was an eerie sound, yet it brought music to his ears. His elbow connected with Gumi's windpipe, causing his body to pace back a couple of steps. The raven-haired boy was more than distraught, his wide eyes staring into Gohan's as he gasped for air. With the stoic composure of a sculpture, the half-ling's assault continued on his former friend, his leg sweep successfully sweeping the boy off of his feet, causing him to land on the ground with a resonating thud. The half-Saiyan was not through however, as he approached his downed opponent with slow, purposeful strides.
"You brought this on yourself you know," He began to speak as his body stopped right in front of Gumi's. "Attacking me out of the blue, evoking my anger, my hatred. Didn't I tell you bad things happened? And yet you still went through with it! Fool, you have only brought about your own demise."
A swift uppercut connected with Gumi's chin, causing him a small portion of blood to fly from his lips. Gohan looked down on him with cold, emotionless eyes. In all honesty, he pitied Gumi more than he hated him. It was a shame that their friendship had deteriorated due to their bloodline. It was actually quite ironic. They befriended each other because of their Saiyan ancestry, but now their friendship should end all the same.
Too bad.
Gohan landed another solid blow to his downed opponent's face. This time it was to the bridge of his nose. The attack mushed into his opponent's nostrils, causing it to bleed heavily. He had to give Gumi some credit, at least he was not going out like a wimp. He did not beg for his life, nor did he scream. He would die with his honor and dignity at least.
But what would that matter in death? Gohan questioned to himself. It was a foolish philosophy. Honor, courage, valor, what does that mean if your opponent is still standing tall over you while you become nothing more than the scum beneath their boot?
Without warning, Gohan placed his foot on his opponent's ankle. He applied pressure, and with relative ease he broke the bone in half. The half-Saiyan watched as Gumi writhed in pain, having lost his ability to walk on that leg.
"Did that feel good? I bet it didn't. No worries though, you won't be feeling much of anything soon."
He shook his head as his eyes laid upon his opponent once again. He did not want to kill him just yet. He would make him suffer first, have each and every horrible sin he has ever committed run through his mind as he questions to his deity about the situation.
